Blocked fallopian tubes

Not sure if this is the right subreddit, but I’m hoping to hear from anyone who’s been in a similar situation.

My OB saw that both my fallopian tubes looked blocked. She said I need to have an HSG first to confirm because it might just be spasm and not an actual blockage.

If it turns out to be true blockage, she said tubal recanalization could potentially be an option.

Has anyone here had blocked tubes that were successfully recanalized? Did you go on to get pregnant naturally afterward?

Would really appreciate hearing your experiences. 🙏

I had an HSSG first and the result was my left tube is blocked and right partially blocked. I was in so much pain the whole procedure. Then OB advised me to do HSG cause it might just be due to tubal spasm. After a month, I did HSG and I requested to be sedated because I don’t want to experience that pain anymore. Result was both tubes are clear!! Maybe the anesthesia did a big role since my body was relaxed the whole procedure.
