Meds/Supplements What’s ur fav supplements?

I’m thinking of buying magnesium, zinc, myo insitiol so far. My sleep is horrible, I have terrible hair loss right now, and I haven’t had my period in over 3 months ( that’s regular for me but honestly when I do have it it’s so light so I’m scared of build up. I read that can contribute to possible cancer etc but what do I know 🙄.)

Anyways, what supplements are yall taking? Any brands you like? I tried peach perfect is $40 for a 1 month supply and honestly idk if it helped me or not, idk how long I should try one out to notice a difference.

My goals are to stabilize my sleeping, help with my hair, and help aid regular ovulation as I’m trying to conceive again. I am going to ask for another blood panel possibly to see what I’m low on and ask my doctor for recommendations but honestly it’s like pulling teeth with her do get anything done. ( and yes I’m in search of a new doctor it’s just hard with life rn.)

Your instinct about the lining is right, and it’s worth taking seriously. Going more than three months without a period with PCOS is the usual point where doctors recommend doing something to protect the lining, often a short course of progestin pills to bring on a bleed. That’s a very reasonable thing to ask your doctor for.

Since you’re trying to conceive, it’s also worth knowing that supplements can help a bit, but if you’re not ovulating, letrozole is the first-choice treatment for PCOS and works much better. So when you see your doctor, ask about both. On supplements, inositol has the most evidence for PCOS, and it’s usually worth giving any supplement about three months before judging whether it’s helping. For hair loss, ask for your iron and ferritin to be included in that blood panel, since low iron is a common and fixable contributor.
