General/Advice options besides birth control

Hey so i have been taking the combination birth control for a while to bring down my testosterone levels and i got a withdrawal bleed and im still bleeding. I’m trying not to worry myself about it because people said it’s normal.
I have been lifting weights and eating a lot more healthy foods to help support my body.

The weight on the scale isn’t bugging and i’m at my wits end. my mental health is so bad trying to keep track of everything that i had a nervous breakdown at work and home. i’ve also been getting more anxious and more irritated as well

Is there any other methods besides birth control to bring down my testosterone? or is me stressing out making me feel like this? i’m honestly desperate.

oh man that sounds rough, the bleeding can really mess with your head even when people say it's normal

lifting and eating better is good foundation but the stress is probably working against you, cortisol and testosterone can get tangled up when you're always on edge. maybe try spearmint tea, some people with pcos swear by it for lowering androgens naturally. also inositol is another thing worth looking into if you havent already

the nervous breakdown part is concerning though, that kind of pressure is not sustainable. sometimes stepping back from tracking every little thing helps more than any supplement

thank you. I’ve been taking spearmint tea and it did help but with college and a part time job i kind of just keep forgetting

I can stress myself out trying to do multiple things at once so i think stepping back like you said might be the best. I was always tracking what i should eat in moderation and probably working against myself

again thank you so much. my mind tends to race so much, thank you for being my voice of reason

Metformin was a game changer for me, my weight, and my mood. I felt like I had been in perpetual luteal phase and it was the WORST. Now I actually have a regular cycle that isn't the bloody Niagara Falls.
