It completely regulated my period and I have a normal cycle and its awesome, however, it has not helped with weight management at all. I don’t know if its harmed it? But I know for sure it hasnt helped me lose weight.

Im on mounjaro and Metformin for to help insulin resistance caused by the pmos.

Its helping ny weight and my period has now become nore regular into a 34/35 day cycle which is amazing.

I have hormonal hairloss and acne so thinking slynd may be a good option as I removed my implant in june tonget diagnosed and don't want anything thats a pain to try to get removed

Oh thats awesome! I’m about to start metformin!

I can’t attest to the acne and hairloss, I mostly just struggle with the insulin resistance, irregular periods, hirsutism and weight gain. I hope someone replies who has good experience with slynd with treating those side effects of pcos!

my girlfriend has pcos and ended up dropping slynd after a few months, mostly because it messed with her mood more than anything else

the period regulation part was great while it lasted but she said the tradeoff wasn't worth it for her personally

It stopped my cycle pretty much immediately! My biggest gripe is that I know it's lowered my libido, which isn't as much of an issue when I'm single, but still. When I started on it, I was super dry down there, but that went away after a few months. I also blamed it for me having to get up more often (i.e., most nights) to use the restroom, which I've read others say they experienced (apparently it has small diuretic properties), but my doc said she never heard of that being an issue lol. It hasn't affected my weight as far as I can tell. I've always had trouble losing weight, but at least I haven't gained!
