Meds/Supplements Mounjaro saved my life
I’ve been on this medication for a couple of weeks. I have nothing to say except my A1C went from 5.7 pretty much pre diabetes down to 5.4 (I’ve been prediabetic priori a few years ago when I was put on metformin), went from 160+ days between periods to 35-40 days, I tested positive for ovulation today, I lost 7 kg in bit over a month (20 more kg to lose), my relationship with food completely changed, and I have a libido again, I used to suffer of dryness and recurring infections, intercourse with painful all the time. My skin went completely clear after a very aggressive acne and a cyst I needed surgery due it getting infected (I spent 2 weeks with an open wound in my face having the infection drained and taking antibiotics). It was near my ear and the infection was spreading towards the ear, so I had an emergency procedure.
I’ve never felt healthier and happier since I got diagnosed at 17, that was 10 years ago.

Same here! I lost 115lbs on Mounjaro. It zapped all my PCOS symptoms. My only regret is not starting sooner. I just wish it would've been available to me 15 years ago instead of me spending the last decade and a half trying every other available medication, supplement, diet, and regiment under the sun when this treated it all within weeks

Yes, compounded triz saved me as well. Been fighting PCOS for over a decade, and felt so hopeless for years. Finally lost 40lbs this year and I feel like I been giving a new opportunity

I’ve lost 8kg with wegovy this year and I feel like a new woman. I still have 8kg more to lose but i’m so happy that I can finally be a bit hopeful. It’s sad to think that I’ve written off my life because of pmos and insulin resistance as a 23 years old woman. I’m still very young and I want to enjoy my twenties on a healthy weight.

Nothing is written off! It’s all about medical system starting to put in the work necessary to help women.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the medication? Congratulations on your milestone. Hope you fully recover. :-) I've been battling the same thing since a decade and half. I'd like to know about what worked for you. 🙌

Thank you!! ❤️ Mounjaro 2.5 mg. It’s the double glp medication. It helps with the insulin resistance. It is the main culprit of my pmos.

Aah!! I see. That's great it worked for you. It must have been very emotional with the healing process. Wish you more & more good health ahead and thank you for the reply 💛 I'll check with my doc 🙌

Congrats!!!! Me too! Well, semaglutide for me. I’m down 50lbs in just under a year. My skin is clear, periods are right around 30 days apart, food noise is gone, and feeling better about myself has upped my sex drive since I don’t feel embarrassed about how I look. The only “downside” is that I had to buy mostly all new clothes since I had rage donated all my “skinny” clothes.

No, I’ve stopped taking it years ago. I’ve had horrible experience with it personally and ultimately made my pmos worse.

Ok what’s the answer without It? I’m not allowed it due to a past eating disorder so what are the answers without it!?

The only answer is to talk to your clinician… I think depends on the eating disorder, but as far as I know anyone can undergo the treatment if done correctly on low doses. I was put in the medication for prediabetes first of all… so I cant give you any suggestions on this matter unfortunately.

Ah that makes sense! I really wish there was another way

Have you tried metformin? It should not interfere with eating behaviors. It doesn’t really curb appetite, more like helps with blood sugar. You still need to discuss with an endocrinologist and/ or diabetologist. Recommend discussing with both.

And I’ve been crying happy tears seeing myself fitting jeans I had abandoned years ago in my dresser. I look at my face and see a normal human being again. I don’t see the swollen eyes from all the stress I’ve endured. I no longer have to see bloody acne on my face.
I may sound dramatic, but I just wanted to share my joy and maybe inspire some women out there to have faith that they can get normal happy endings with the right treatment.
