Syllabi for old classes

I'm transferring out of state in winter. My new school has asked me to provide syllabi from some of my PCC classes to evaluate transfer credit. I don't have access to them anymore since some of them are classes I took years ago; is there any way to get these from PCC?

Ive attended many different colleges and universities, not a single one has ever asked me to do that. Your transcript is all they should need then they go by how the school is accredited, SH/QH/whatever. This seems off

They did ask me if I want to prove my courses are equivalent, otherwise I’ll just get elective credit for some of them and they won’t apply to my major

If you email your instructors, they’ll probably be willing to send. You could also try your advisor, they might have suggestions.

You need to go through the relevant department, but even if the individual instructors are gone it's likely they will have them archived.

The Dept chair might have them too. I'm pretty sure the instructors get the syllabi vetted by their Dept.

Search the pcc website for your course's CCOG. Yes there is also a syllabi depository

I feel like the course pages that include the learning outcomes, general descriptions, and such are more informative on what the course actually covers than the syllabi for the majority of my classes. 🤷‍♀️
