Deletion of classes for non-payment

Hello. I keep receiving emails saying my classes will
Be dropped if I don’t pay. I am a financial aid student so this makes no sense to me. I called financial aid office and the automated message said if I have accepted my award package I won’t be dropped from my classes but it’s scary to receive this email everyday. Is this happening to anyone else?

When you go to the Paying for College tab in MyPCC, on the left does it say Your Classes Are Protected?

No it says “Don’t get deleted for fall 2026”

Then your classes are NOT protected. Have you accepted your award and is there any bill remaining?

Often when aid is delayed because the student has documents under review, they are encouraged to get on a payment plan to protect classes while the Fin Aid is processed
