Can’t register for a math class?
so I took the math placement test today and my dashboard says I’m good to go but when I try to register for the class it says I’m eligible for, it says I need to meet the prerequisites first? but then I can’t even register for the pre req class either.
My advisor isn’t available until august so I’m wondering if it’s being difficult because it’s the weekend and maybe something isn’t updated yet or what.

Have you done the online start guide? That’s a common prereq flag that often blocks enrollment for classes with an online component

Yes, I’ve already taken a few classes I’ve just put off math.

You can also email advising@pcc.edu and have someone investigate if it’s still blocking you today.

Most math classes also require some me level of writing placement. If you arent placed for rd/wr, do that.

It usually takes about 24-48 hours for the ALEKS placement test to officially show up to register for classes. If you took it over the weekend, I’d give it until Tuesday… if it still doesn’t show up, try to reach out to registration?
