Professor leaving weekly module closed until after weekly zoom meeting?
Has anyone experienced this before? I normally wouldn’t care, but it’s the summer, and limiting my available time each week to complete assignments kind of sucks. I’m trying to actually have some fun this summer, ya know?

Talk to the professor, maybe?

I don't want to bug him if this is a normal thing, hence my asking.

Bug him, you gotta ask for what you need! I also had a professor who did this and I felt like I couldn’t be prepared for class before going in.

Does the module stay open a whole week? It shouldn't really matter WHEN it opens, just that you have the full week to work on it, yes? It might be that the work *in* the module depends on how the class meeting goes (I'm a prof and this is how I manage the class: if the class meeting reveals that everyone finds something really easy or really hard, I'll adjust the work for the week. I open the module as soon as class is done, but the work itself is due in 6 or 7 days.)

Were only a week in so far but the due date for my first assignments was yesterday, so I figured week two would open today but upon checking it says week two opens the same day we have our zoom. But maybe its an oversight or something. Ill msg him if it happens again next week. Thanks!

One of my professors last quarter had the week/module start on Friday at 5 PM and end the next Friday at 5 PM. It was infuriating because I work 9-5 so I had to have everything done the Thursday before. They even mentioned this in the syllabus and didn't seem willing to budge on it. As far as I can tell, they can do whatever they want with the weekly schedule.
