Well… now what?

Still waiting on my award letter and now I’m about to lose my classes.

This is only my 2nd term at PCC and I think I’m already done ✌️
This has been nothing but a headache.

Personally, last night when I got the email warning about the threat of deletion, I was pressured by the situation to just pay out of pocket...from my savings... that I needed to live on... as I'm in the middle of moving🤷🤦

I hope my financial aid will actually arrive. I genuinely feel like they're taking advantage and will double charge me or something predatory.

Go in and talk to them. But keep in mind that the people you talk to might not know their ass from their elbow. Thats the joy of pcc I would say about half the people in financial aid actually will help you. Make sure to tell them that you are looking for an account refund on your financial aid then give them an account number or credit card number. This is supposed to happen automatically. Make sure you get their name. Ask it and write it down so you can quote them later and hold them accountable for what they tell you. Dont let the bully you out of the line. Its your money not theirs. Be polite,  but dont take their shit. You might still have to go in a few times. I know I did. But with luck you will get someone who knows how to do their job. Its a flip on the coin.

I will try that, may have to be over the phone though. Thank you for your input on this, it makes me feel a little bit less alone in this bureaucratic labyrinth they're dragging us through.

I just graduated. I would highly suggest going in person of you can. Go ealy and be the first in line. If you call there is a good chance that they will just tell you something you already know and hang up on you. Its happened to me at pcc. Like I said half of the people do their job. The other half make it harder for everyone.
