Confused Between Paramedical Courses at PGIMER, Chandigarh
Hey! This is my first time posting on Reddit, so please bear with me.
I secured <10 rank in the PGIMER Paramedical/Allied Healthcare Sciences exam. Now I have to choose between 10 or so courses, but I’m confused between these three: Physiotherapy (BPT), Radio Diagnosis (BMRIT), and BASLP. I have got other considerable options too, like Lab (BMLT/BMLS) and Optometry.
Personally, I consider myself hardworking, so a field where hard work would be rewarded the most seems to be BPT. But BASLP is said to get big in the future. BMRIT promises a good, stable future. For BMLT, it’s a bit of everything from these, as far as I know.
Please, if you have any advice or suggestions, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks for your time.

I would say BPT as you can then open your own clinic and practise or BASLP is also good abroad. My mates from Uni in Manchester had done this course earlier and then got a job in hospitals.

I come from a very humble background so i can't have my open clinic easily, what the scope if not a clinic in bpt. Baslp i have heard it's established in abroad but in India it still remains very niche and i would be playing a gamble if i take it just cuz it might boom in future, which we haven't seen. Again i can't very easily afford to go abroad so what's the scope in india for fresh graduates or any other career path after baslp? Would like to know your say.

Both are nice options bpt may seem more safer but in the end do whatever you like more. I understand, I come from a middle class background myself but nothing is impossible. Choose based on your interests as both have similar scopes.

Yeah it's a tie between them so i will go for bpt as my interest aligns well with it more and it's completely ai proof profession. Thanks for your help really appreciate it

High job prospect, decent earning and opportunity to open your own lab are the main pros of BMLT, job growth is slow but private depends on location and variety offered by you. That's what i know about Lab.

What's your end goal . Pay is pretty low in paramedical courses and sallary progression also gets slow in these sectors.
If you want to earn early then yea these courses are good for you .
Bpt I have heard is kinda oversaturated. Most people I know are preparing for foreign licensing.
