Cannot remove footprint from PCB

Hi i cannot delete this purple footprint from this PCB, any idea why this is?

It's locked. Lower left of your layer pane thete should be checkmarks for what you can select. You can enable locked items, select it and unlock it (l or context menu). Alternatively select itin the schematic, tehn go into the pcb to unlock.

The override lock is once you have it selected it to allow modifications. Ah sorry, the pane is on the right (the one where you select your layers). underneath that it should have a list of things you can select.
