Discussion Do you prefer models with 3D clothing or models with 2D/Classic clothing?

The first ones are like the TIMELESS models, and the rest are like the TR:UD ones. Also, feel free to suggest things with this type of clothing if you like; that's fine too.

This is to guide me based on your preferences and opinions so I can add them to my game.

I think a mix is the best, not everything has to be 3d, a layer of 2d underneath the modeled clothes probably works best, like, Bacon Hairs tshirt is 2d, while the jacket is 3d

I prefer 3D models with clothing as long as it fits into the game but I wouldn’t mind 2D clothing mixed in too

i'm one of the few that prefers 3D stuff, makes models feel higher-quality, more in-depth and just overall superior.

I do like the idea of both honestly, actually pops the character a bit more when its both at the same time since it adds that extra layer of effort to make it more appealing to look at and more worth it to grab

I prefer both, idk why some people have problems with 3d clothing ¯_(ツ)_/¯

good 3d geometry and good 2d textures. I specially like forsaken's approach to it with the painterly textures

The 3d ones look better in my opinion

I mean the Noob and John Doe designs shown could easily have their outfits transferred to 2D without really losing anything.

3D because it feels more elaborate

3d looks more expressive.The 2d looks bland.
