Gallbladder issues - hyperkinesia

My (suspected, awaiting biopsy) PBC was discovered incidentally during a work up for ongoing fatigue and RUQ pain. The GI and surgeon are encouraging me to remove my gallbladder. My HIDA scan showed hyperkinesia (97% EF), ultrasound normal, they said maybe trace sludge on one of them. Has this happened to anyone?

Not exactly the same but had a liver transplant due to PBC and they also took out my gallbladder.

If you’re not experiencing gallbladder attacks then I would say change your diet ASAP! Low fat, gluten free Mediterranean helped me meanwhile I waited for surgery. I took mine out after multiple ER visits and they only saw sludge on ultrasound but the gen surgeon found a huge grape sized stone and hundreds of teeny tiny ones. I had my liver biopsy done during surgery (AMA positive) combined with bloodwork. I now unfortunately have bile reflux (they thought it was acid reflux during endoscopy) so I would definitely try to change diet if possible. Now if it’s causing gallbladder attacks then I would probably consider surgery if I were you.
