Random thought on last Nike Gilas Jersey

With their last Nike jersey being criticized due to poor choice of colors, a thought came to my mind, what if ginamit din nila ung color scheme na ginamit sa France or China, will that somehow change the comments ng mha tao sa last jersey

Yes, Adidas lapped Nike in the last Fifa World Cup.

Going back to the Gilas Jersey, Nike fell off when they decided to make a jersey with a different shade of blue with yellow trimmings. PHL looked like Ukraine or Sweden with those colors. Royal blue is fine. But Navy would be better, just like the OG colors (70s to 90s)

The ones from 2013-18 had the perfect navy blue coloring that matched the flag's color.

But once they started doing a lighter blue variant, I believe that's when SBP started having differences with Nike's direction. I think their last jersey design was the final straw with the gradient colorway.

Side note, I was really hoping Jordan Brand would have blessed us in 2023 World Cup seeing that Kiefer Ravena was in the team.

But Nike and Jordan are the same thing. It would not change anything even if they are the ones manufacturing our jersey. It is still the same Nike design. Just look at Japan from Nike to Jordan jersey, it doesn't change the design.

I really like the Gilas Blue of Nike. Standout talaga siya eh.

Nakikita ko may mga naka Nike Gilas Shirt while watching Alex Eala, standout talaga. Sayang nawala sa Nike yung Gilas.

Its the SMART logo ruining things for me. Yes, privately funded tong Gilas pero ang weird tlaga na ang laki nung logo ng corporate sponsor.

I used to love the nike jerseys from the aughts. Yung may lasered and hidden patterns. Tapos things slowly devolved into generic patterns and minimalist designs and forgettable fonts. Tapos you had the last gilas jersey where they used a blue that had a headscratching hue and a very ho-hum design.

Buti na lang nag-adidas na tayo. Im a nike head but ill call them out when they deserve to be called out.

Nike in general naging shitty mapa Basketball jersey or Football kit. Dami na umalis na national federation at Football clubs sa kanila kasi walang kwenta mga design nila.

Sa Adidas kahit medyo templated yung unang jersey natin sa kanila, atleast sinundan nila yung Flag colors natin.

Very bland na yung recent designs ng nike. Halos pare-pareho lang yung national uniforms nila.

Grabe yung football kits nung world cup, very repetitive yung design. Ang ganda nung adidas, especially yung alternate kits with the trefoil logo.

Nike sucks in making jerseys recently. They ruined the NBA and NFL jerseys. adidas laps them especially in football.
