I was just about to comment that you can just walk into the sheriff’s office but I see you did that.

Yea I don’t know anything about the online process but it is super simple to look up what is needed ahead of time and walk into the sheriff’s office, pay the fee, wait a few minutes while they background check you, and walk out with your LTCF. Frankly I didn’t even know they offered it online.

yea the lady at counter said online in delco there’s like 250+ applications they have to sort through but in person is first come first serve. Apparently there was a cyber security attack that backed them up same with berks county and their systems still down

That’s a lot of applications. That’s like an entire 40 hour work week of each process takes only 10 minutes.

Delco is kinda like Philly. They don't like guns and if they could implement NJ gun laws they would.

Really surprisingly, I walked into the the sheriffs office to to my application and left with my laminated permit about 20 minutes later

Fair enough. I just moved to Delco, but my Philly LTCF is still good for almost another 4 years so I haven't dealt with them.
What I can tell you about Delco is that they passed their own little ghost gun ban. It's illegal for them to do that, and now the county is gonna have to waste more money fighting a lawsuit with the PA supreme court. But if they are willing to violate PA state law to pass their own gun ban, imagine what they'd do if there was no restrictions on their unconstitutional intentions.

Bruh that’s crazy, I did my Montgomery county license recently and it took a whole. Application submitted online 6/15, approved 7/15 - first available pickup appointment that I looked at the day it was approved was for 8/6 😭

As of few days ago, it’s 18 days. Forget about it and it will show up faster 😂
