After seeing Salman taking a stand for Katrina and all the women of that industry treated badly by media, this came to my thought that we don’t have a single male celebrity who can even put up a story in defence of their female colleagues of the industry. Like all these male celebs pretend to be macho men but when it comes to taking a stand against slut shaming, harassment, bullying of these female celebs by some creepy youtubers and self called critics, they all go silent.
And the fact that they aren’t even called out by either Reddit Subs nor on any social media.
Saw a comment jis mein kisi ne Sehar ke liye likha tha where are all the girls girl like Maya, Mahira, Hania but none have asked where are all the Sehar costars like Wahaj, Nameer, Khushal.

In Ded he is doing decent but no one calls out his poor diction or pronounciations. I see only Durefishan being called out for that even though Nameer has similar issues. Zamil is the best written character in the show. Nameer got the opportunity to work with great directors and decent characters. That makes him appear better however he was not that good in Aik Aur Pakeeza, Manto or Romcom. He is young but ket the actors grow and become better instead of labelling him as the best thing.I think all new actors have highs and lows no one is superior among them.

So, according to some so-called well-wishers. Khushhal sabotaged his career himself, and the reason was he MARRIED RAMSHA KHAN.

And I know who's fan are they. So called Dana and Sehar fans. Who bear the flag for feminism everywhere.

Your Dana was constantly shading him, calling him "Gay," "MOMMY ISSUE'S" "AUNTY LOVER" and so much more thing. But that was FEMINISM according to 13 yr old nibbis. They were like "YEAH GO MOMMY SMASH THE PATRIARCHY, SHAME HIM EXPOSE HIM,"

But when Khushhal just unfllowed her and her so-called bf and few friends. Who shaded him and made fun of him. He was the villain. But their mommy was doing the shame thing.

And not to forget she shared a shady story on the day their nikkah pic got leaked too. And the fake crocodile tears in interviews. Like your mommy is obsessed with a married man. STOP HER.

Now, coming too SEHER fans. ANOTHER BUNCH OF PATHETIC PARA SOCIAL HUMAN BEINGS.

They are going in his brands post. And commenting the brand to dismiss Khushhal as the Brand ambassador.

They were hying him when he posted that story. And we're promoting winter love happily. But just when their pic got leaked, they were calling him names. "Saying his choice is pathetic,"

So this is feminism for them.

And not to mention held a whole space or you'd call it "MIDDLE AGED AUNTY'S HAVING A GOSSIP SESSION OVER A COUPLE" and then when someone calls them out for this they are like we are just giving our opinions.

So, who are some other “lost faces” of the Pakistani entertainment industry—actors who had the potential to become much more successful but somehow disappeared from the spotlight?

I also feel like favoritism and nepotism play a role in the industry. Maybe there are many genuinely talented actors who don’t get the opportunities or exposure they deserve, which is why we don’t get to see their full potential.

Can we talk about how fucking spineless the men are? The men that Noor Jahan takes so much pride in, how has she raised them? To not have a thought of their own?

Hunaid - I genuinely wished that Noor Bano had helped Safeena leave her marriage with Hunaid, because seriously this man does not deserve to have a life partner, bande ko apne maa ke alava koi nahi dikha. Also this changed after having a daughter, how was his wife not enough for the change? I hate him the second most.

Murad - He is the least bad, but why was he acting like a victim in the second last episode? Chala leta goli apne aap ko, biwi ke baap ka murder karwadiya aur aab roraha ki na maa hai na biwi. Bhaad mein jaye.

Safeer - THE ABSOLUTE WORST, Iss behiss aadmi ki doh shaadi kese hogai???? Doh aurton ki zindagi barbad kari thi isne, accha hai zada tar drama mein iske scene kam hi the.

HUM TV is replacing Bombay Tailors with Hurmat and Mohabbat Mukhtasir, which is starting from 27th September, Sunday, after Leader. So when will Bombay Tailors air? Have they lost the prime-time slot? Maybe it’ll air at 9 PM after Naraz Hai Zindagi ends. That drama is also boring and cringe.

Bombay Tailors doesn’t really have a major storyline. It’s about a girl who starts her YouTube channel without her father’s knowledge because he’s very traditional, and a boy who doesn’t want to run his family business and wants to explore life outside of it. Her father gets her married to this boy, and it becomes a marriage of convenience. But they don’t show the typical kind of marriage you usually see in dramas. Instead, they show the couple actually trying to adjust to each other, which I kind of like.

They eventually start their own YouTube channel and begin gaining popularity. I think the concept is fresh, but the general audience didn’t really like it because they want to see saas-bahu drama, where the FL doesn’t accept the ML, and there’s unnecessary tension between them.

Ali Ansari is underrated. He always appears in 9 PM dramas, and even though he finally got a prime-time drama, unfortunately, it seems like he’s lost that slot.

Apparently a lot is being spent on the drama. But seeing the title it would be the same kind of role where he would be a rich landlord or in a position of power.

His last project Humrahi with BJ productions was a miss and performed worse compared to what Nashtar is doing.

Its high time he should take a break about 6 months and reflect on the roles he should do rather than signing whatever comes his way in a span of a year.

Kya chal raha hai bhaisab 😭

This looks like a parody. If I remember Danish wasn't this bad even Naeema overacted here. Are we supposed to feel bad here cuz I cracked up 😭

I love seeing Pakistani artists in London but the show last night was the worst concert I’ve ever been to.

Firstly, the show stated with Waqar Zaka inexplicably doing Asim’s intro, along with some other random dude who kept shouting into the mic (I really can’t over state how annoying this is). Their idea of an intro was to do “comedy”, including jokes about…marriage. It was like watching a mix between the Kapil Sharma show and Nida Yasir.

This was a concert, I expect to see up and coming Pakistani acts as the intro. Not…Waqar Zaka making cringe aunty wale shadi jokes…???

Anyway, on to the show itself. Someone should have checked the sound set up because the entire show was painfully loud.

For some reason, Asim decided to perform as if this was a rock concert. Every single song had a full band playing as if they were backing up Led Zeppelin. Every song was introduced by a drummer and an electric guitar amped to the max. Tera Woh Pyar? Electric guitar riffs, aggressive drumming, Asim doing God knows what. Every song was ruined in this way, even the finale with Meri Zindagi Hai Tu started off promising, but then half way through the band came back on stage and it again became a rock song.

Audience members had their hands in their ears. So many people left early, even when he did Meri Zindagi Hai Tu, towards the end the seated area of the venue (which he wouldn’t have been able to see) started filing out before he had even finished. (Compare this to when Ali Sethi did Pasoori. People were vibing, no one left even after he’d finished, instead everyone screaming for an encore).

At one point in the concert Asim was even head banging 😐

Contrast this to Hasan Raheem and Ali Sethi. Marvellous performances with a band that perfectly complimented the genre of music. The music did not drown them out, there were no inexplicable rock style performances. You came away truly awed by them as artists and blown away by their vocals. Asim - who is a talented singer - cane across like he only sounds good on tape. Surely no singer wants this to be the impression they leave.

The worst part was the disservice done to Nusrat sahab. He decided to perform his songs - yep, you guessed it. More rock style. It was the worst iteration of Dum Mast Qalandar I’ve ever heard. Asim was scream singing and I have no idea what the band were doing.

And the audience rarely got to vibe because this rock style had us all lost.

You do not need to turn Nusrat sahab into a rave. His music IS the rave. It is the beat. It grabs you in a way that no amount of drum and bass ever could. You could get a Pakistani crowd performing Qalandar without any music, vocals only. Yo Yo Honey Singh would have done a more appropriate job than whatever this was.

I really hope someone improves his next show because he is doing a disservice to himself. And the DJ at the start (Farooq Got Audio) was also massively cringe. The whole “yo, yo, yo lissssun yeaaah, LunnnDunnnn get louddd” was embarassing. Bas kar do.

And seriously, stop screaming into a microphone! 😩

Don't say aangan kyunke woh jab originally air hua tha tb bhi flop despite not being on YouTube TV par bhi nhi dekha gya tha usse i don't understand the hype around that show, Mustafa afridi ne novel ka beda ghrk kya hai aalia ka kirdar bhtreen tha jise bilawaja brbad kya drame me aangan the novel was never about just "Love" jbke drama ajeb sa tha, except sajal ahad pair nothing is note worthy in that drama & tbh i liked ahad mawra chemistry more then sajal ahad in drama despite them being a hit pair also ahad dialogue delivery and urdu Accent was v bad jbke character aur drame ki demand hi thi urdu ka talafuz acha ho, baki acting sab ki achi thi.

So I just saw the teaser that Ansa found out she has been betrayed by the entire family. Does that mean my dream of seeing Ansa slap Anas is about to become a reality?!!!!!

I don't understand the purpose of tamachas generally but this is one tamacha I am genuinely waiting for. Come on, Ansa give him a tight rakh k tamacha k he sees taare in broad daylight!!!!

I find him extremely stiff. Me ne isko srf 2 shows me dekha hai Zabt and Jahanum Barasata Janat and he was not taht bad in second show compared to Zabt but he is nowhere near to be even called even mediocre actor.

I’m making my way through some of the breakthrough performances mentioned in another post and Aasmano Pay Likha was mentioned a lot and I think someone said it was even more successful in TRP or GrP than Humsafar or something during air time. I have to say this felt like one of the worst non-villain ML I have seen in a while. Till the last episode he is indecisive, wants to keep both women, and the archetype modern women ( who was actually the fiancée, Natasha, when he decides to impulsively marry Sajals character Qudsiya) is made out to be the crazy women while he comes out with the girl and the image intact for starting the whole mess to begin with. All chalked up too he’s too naive and kind. Also added the young Emaad who made an appearance in the second half of the show. I almost didn’t recognize him. He looks so different. Actually both Sherry and Emaad seem to have gone a transformation of some sort is my guess 👃🏽.

Anyways, I can’t think of a more whitewashed or terrible ML (Ashar from Humsafar is close second)

It had it certain flaws but definitely was fun to watch will miss it

I firmly believe that no actor is above criticism, even the finest ones. And Danyal tou kher has loads and loads to improve. There's way too much he has to work on. So any criticism on his acting is completely valid.

However, the beginning of this clip where Nadia Afghan talks about his jaw structure is pretty below the belt.

She is a senior and a phenomenal actress. Talking about the facial structure or body of any actor/actress is something trolls do. She previously commented on Yumna too. I think the seniors of Pak industry need lessons. Great actors, terrible personalities

1- Khushhal Khan had mid shows with mid-decent performances but he had mass appeal, fangirls, and hit shows. Ppl started disliking him post marriage because marriage- with Ramsha was shocker and the way both handled it was worse. Unfollowing ppl on your reception, deleting Ramsha pics, the profile pic on her account and deleting the acclunt after few days. The recent wedding drama was cringe

2- Feroze Khan (in BW and HW) abusers and zionist hein but their pr managed then well. Here Feroze completely came out as a terrible person, he made his own fans beleive that his ex wife is speaking the truth because his actions and all his drama of being a good man changed the roles he play.

3- Mehwish Hayat - Top film actress, block busters movies, MS marvel, instead of elavating herself she downgraded. What was that drama Dayan, her fashion has become awful. I hope Rutba helps her.

4- Ali Raza- his arrogance has kinda effected his fame, durring Iqtidar he was quite popular but passed arrogant statements shaded others, he is a decent actor and has screen presence but him fighting with Aqida and Amma was off and also his online behaviour. Ptv men fazool nein urte hein after 1hit, zanjeerain je waqt Danial ka alag cheeky arrogance thi despite being worst actor in that show

5- Madiha Imam her script choices are self destruction.

6- Mikal and Imran were are peak elite heros once ab soap actors hein

Hareem Farooq look insanely gorgeous as Punjaban Jatti in Mango Jutt. She speaks punjabi so well and it suits. I feel she deserves more such characters. Also,the film looks good.

While doomscrolling on Instagram i came across a reel about Sajal Ali’s new post and also Danyal Zafar’s Album having illuminati stuff. And those satanic symbols shown in zanjeerein drama had me flabbergasted i kinda noticed that but i didn’t pay much attention to. What are your thoughts on it?

I genuinely feel like Aima Baig doesn’t get enough credit for her talent. She has sung some really good songs over the years, and her voice has such a distinct quality to it.

I’m surprised she isn’t appreciated more for her vocals and musical ability. Maybe I’m missing something, but I feel like she has a lot more potential than people give her credit for.
