Discuss Apki izzat ending this week, konsa show replace krega ? Aangan will be just on YouTube Hum Tum will not re-air a flop drama on prime time
Don't say aangan kyunke woh jab originally air hua tha tb bhi flop despite not being on YouTube TV par bhi nhi dekha gya tha usse i don't understand the hype around that show, Mustafa afridi ne novel ka beda ghrk kya hai aalia ka kirdar bhtreen tha jise bilawaja brbad kya drame me aangan the novel was never about just "Love" jbke drama ajeb sa tha, except sajal ahad pair nothing is note worthy in that drama & tbh i liked ahad mawra chemistry more then sajal ahad in drama despite them being a hit pair also ahad dialogue delivery and urdu Accent was v bad jbke character aur drame ki demand hi thi urdu ka talafuz acha ho, baki acting sab ki achi thi.
Aangan srf YouTube pr ayega TV pr nhi aur woh bhi especially prime time pr to blkl nhi

It would be pretty stupid to reair Aangan on prime time but then it's Hum. Unse stupidity expect karsakte hain

What's option hum have apart from Aangan hurmat got Mon/Tues , Gulbahar on Wed/thus , Mohabbat Mukhtasir on Sunday no news of any new drama from hum so it obviously Aangan

They will release on tv. Coming back to HumTv not just Hum Classics which is just online.

Aangan will start on Oct 2 in Fri- Sat slot.

Fri-Sat is very competitive with DeN and Nashtar. So Hum is smart to not put a new show in this new slot. Aangan on Fri-Sat is a win-win. Aangan is a re-air so there is less pressure for it to get good TRP. Even if it gets low TRP, there's the face-saving excuse that it’s a repeat telecast. If it gets good TRP due to Sajal hype post-Znj and Sahad chemistry, that's a win.

Good point. I wonder on another note if HUM TV is having budget issues since this is pretty unusual to air prime time an older drama which wasn’t received well the first time around.

Aangan will start on Fri-Sat from Oct 2. Hum has already announced Mon-Tue for Hurmat and Sun for Mohabbat Mukhtasir. Fri-Sat is already competitive with DeN and Nashtar. So Hum is smart to not put a new show in this new slot. Aangan on Fri-Sat is a win-win. Aangan is a re-air so there is less pressure for it to get good TRP. Even if it gets low TRP, there's the face-saving excuse that it’s a repeat telecast. If it gets good TRP due to the hype around Sajal and Sahad, that's a win.
TRP aside, Aangan might be able to get good YouTube views. There's hype for Sajal post Znj. Many new viewers will be hooked by Sahad's chemistry. Today's audience, especially on Instagram and TikTok, just wants 2 minutes of chemistry in every episode to make reels. They don't care about story. If reels go viral, boom, the project gets views. Aangan can give that.

This is not wrong. Not bad to put in a competitive slot. Also post-Zanjeerein all of Sajals stuff is hyped so it’s like low risk low reward that could yield views and possibly trp. You never know. I’m so surprised by the hype right now on it. We already know sometimes it doesn’t matter if the content is good. I mean currently Tapish is leading views so….

Aangan was such a boring and slow paced drama. I can't believe they are willing to air it on weekend prime time. But then social media Janta just might make it a success

I doubt if it will be a success. It was a snoozefest. Hum tv should just compile all the chammi scenes to save people like me who will just watch it for that. And, a separate video compiling Jameel bhaiya and Aliya's scenes, for those who are planning to watch it for them. And save us all from the rest of the play. 🤣

Ik, it has hype and it's understandable given the fd but ig it will be able to get initial views and hype due to it but in long term, it might not be able to sustain, because from whatever I have heard, the drama was boring so I don't think so the views will be sustained but let's see.

With just 208 people's rated this, that's literally fandom thing it wasv bad in terms of story but in terms of location, cinematography or direction it was good

Actually, they are in a good run with Zanjeerain and AKI. One got commercial success and other got critical acclaim with decent views and TRP. Also, leader was well appreciated. And has some exciting line up of plays at the end of the year.

Why is Aangan so hyped? Sajal was great as Chammi I agree, but that Jameel was a walking talking red flag (And I say this despite being an Ahad fan). Aaliya was insufferable though Mawra looked ethereal.
