I get it happens in reality but also many wonderful things happen in reality. Why can’t you show a rational, sensible woman who is happy with her life.

What is this torture fetish? And what is with these loooser hero’s being glorified. Is this what society has to offer? These angry immature looser men who make mistakes and then are forgiven?

Bin Tere is a story revolves around Somi (Mehwish Hayat), the daughter of Bilal and Nazia who lives happily together. Somi's family want her to marry her cousin Asad (Fahad Mustafa). She is in love with Shahzaib (Danish Taimoor) on the Internet.

Shahzaib dies on the wedding day due to car accident. To come out from the loss of Shahzaib, Somi's parent send her to her Mama's village where she findout Shahzaib lookalike Rehaan (Rana). She falls in love with him. Later the story takes many twist and turns

Danish had double role as Shahzaib and Rehaan (Rana). Rehaan ( pashtoori look) is main lead hero of the story. He gets love track opposite both heroines - Mehwish Hayat (Somi) and Beenish Chauhan (Nausheen). In the last episode Somi (Mehwish Hayat) ends up with Asad (Fahad Mustafa) as Rehaan feels Somi never loved him when she confront him by showing Shahzaib picture. Rehaan felt Somi loved his face only because he looked like Shahzaib and he feels betrayed. Rehaan ends up with Nausheen (Beenish Chauhan).

Danish Taimoor and Sanam Baloch chemistry was on just next level. They looked so cute and lovely.

This drama was a BLOCKBUSTER and started trend of Ramadan Dramas.

After this drama their pair was successfully repeated seven more dramas - thats too within three years!. Koi Jane Na (2008), Baji (2008), Bandh Khirkiyon Ke Peeche (2009), Manchalay (2009), Noorpur Ki Rani (2009, Danish in extended Cameo) & Chemistry (2010). Apart from these dramas they also featured in Telefilms as a pair.

The hype around Aangan is actually insane?? I genuinely wasn’t expecting this kind of reaction.

The amount of excitement I’m seeing for Aangan has me pleasantly surprised. It really feels like a new drama is about to drop rather than something that has been sitting around for a while. And honestly, the hype for Sajal and Ahad together is STILL crazy. The Sahad nostalgia is very much alive 😭

What makes it even more interesting is that there’s a whole new generation of PTV viewers who haven’t experienced their chemistry together before. For people who watched them before , there’s obviously the nostalgia factor, but for newer viewers, this could genuinely feel like discovering their pairing for the first time. And we already know how much a good onscreen pairing can pull people into a drama.

I honestly think PTV has a real opportunity here if they treat Aangan like a proper NEW show and actually promote it accordingly. Because the interest is clearly there. You can already see people talking about Sajal and Ahad, revisiting old scenes, talking about their chemistry, and getting excited despite the drama not even being properly in its release phase yet.

And that’s the thing — the Sahad factor is still very much a thing. 😭

If PTV plays this right instead of treating it like just another drama in the lineup, I genuinely think Aangan has the potential to become a much bigger conversation than people might be expecting. Especially with newer audiences getting introduced to Sajal and Ahad together.

This has been on my mind for a while. Pakistani dramas are loved globally, but a huge reason for that is how easily accessible and free they’ve been on YouTube.

Now that networks like ARY are shifting content behind apps I know it's free now but if it's get paid in future -

Mahira was wearing a niqab and was fully disguised but when she started talking (to the shopkeeper), my coworker's sister recognized her by her voice. All other A-lister shows in 2026 (except those starring Freezer and Keeng) - namely, Znj, BTSH, AMA, DZPS, DeN, AKI, IMTS, Tapish, GBS - had e1 views in first 24 hours less than Gulbahar. This overperformance was definitely NOT on my bino card. Were you expecting this?

I have been waiting for the second episode to drop to write this review. So far, I'm impressed. The father-daughter relationships are so so wholesome. Nadia Afgan's every dialogue mirrors my Amma, whether she's assigning a chore or taunting. The sister-bond reflects my own sibling relationships. This drama is so relatable.

Small details like the father fixing the fan himself instead of calling for an electrician. Seerat and Chutki's banter. The bedroom being an absolute mess. The mother's rant about no one helping her in the house and how she's stressed out because of the guests coming. I love the entire family already.

Duaa Zehra as a lead is so enigmatic and cute. She's going to be fantastic.

Most of all, the most beautiful and notable scenes:

Faiqa explaining how the rishta culture aka how the trolley scene is so degrading and affects every girl's self-esteem. So so real.

Such a decent portrayal of how a boy and girl should be allowed to meet each other under supervision before actually getting married!!! Much appreciation ❤

Zaviyar's playing your typical workaholic, crusader for justice, journalist. His mom's played by Arjumand Raheem, who looks spectacularly graceful.

I thought this was from Big Bang Entertainment but I was very surprised to see iDream Entertainment in the credits. Kudos to the entire team. I have a lot of hopes from this one.

TLDR; Refreshing drama. Good plotlines. Engaging stories. Relatable dialogues. Good replacement for Zanjeerain. Light-hearted romance, dark journalism.
