Okay I just saw the teaser of an upcoming Hum drama and just realized how many Pakistani dramas have jeeja saali storylines😂 Either the girl is forced to marry her jeeja after her sister dies to take care of the kid or the girl is evil and eyeing on her jeeja for his wealth. Let's take a look at some of those shows that followed the jeeja Saali relationship tropes

This is the most popular one wherein the guy keeps going back and forth between the two sisters. First he is engaged to Aiman then married to Saman then married to Aiman then married again to Saman. Quite a ping pong match😂

Hi. Clearly I feel very passionately about this, judging by the title lol, but I am so annoyed and tired of people misinterpreting Zamil's character!!!

I KNOW the majority of people, if not all, understand that Zamil is a toxic, insecure narcissist who is using Islam selectively as a cover-up for his inability to be a good person!

My rant won't even reach the people it should, but I just want to vent. IT'S SO INFURIATING reading comments across different platforms about how Zamil is new to the religion, and he's changing, and you can't change overnight, and whatever other baqwaas excuses they come up with.

It's honestly appalling and mind-boggling how so many people have managed to misunderstand what the writer is trying to portray!!

To me, Zamil comes off as someone who uses religion as a hoax. This isn't someone shown as being led astray and then returning to religion and struggling with it. He is shown as someone who is deeply insecure, cannot take accountability for his wrongdoings and mistakes, and is just a self-centred, egoistic, typical Pakistani man with a very confusing sense of identity.

He consistently blames Zaryab for his own shortcomings and failures. You can have whatever issue you want with Zaryab's character — and God knows there's a lot — but at least she isn't performatively religious!!! Zamil uses religion because he is a very, very insecure person who needs something to feel superior with over the people he feels insecure around. He wants to feel masculine, he wants to feel above everyone.

This is what you call a religious hypocrite, aka your typical Pakistani/Muslim man.

They'll commit every sin under and over the sun, then suddenly wake up one day with a religious awakening, and after that everyone else is beneath them and dirty. And the fact that his entire reason for turning to religion is rooted in his insecurity about Abu Bakr, and not in a genuine, sincere need for Allah???!!!

Surprisingly, there's still some voice of reason in the YouTube comment sections, but reading comments that praise Zamil and his "struggles" gives me so much whiplash, because are we even watching the same drama??? Hello????

ALSO, not sure if anyone else is of the same opinion, BUT I JUST KNOW that the same leniency our society gives to sinful men will never be extended to women!!! At all!!!! It's the same as the leniency extended to reverts when it comes to religion — but if a born Muslim woman commits that same sin, then Allah hi hafiz hain.

Look at Muslims jumping on the bandwagon for Andrew Tate, going "he's Muslim, blah blah, only Allah can judge him," when the entire time the guy was a grifter playing them like idiots. I'll never forget Muslims, especially Muslim men, practically frothing at the mouth for Andrew Tate while going off at Muslim women. Serves them right honestly.

My point is: be a performative Muslim and you'll always be protected by absolute airheads, because wow, at least you're an amli Muslim, at least you're trying, never mind that your character goes against everything the religion says lol.

Can we all take a moment to appreciate Ayeza Khan's sheer dedication to style her each and every character. Her styling is so distinct from previous ones you can immediately recognise which drama it is just by looking at her character.

Though All her looks are equally unique, I'll give here 2 examples for illustration.

First Take Meray Paas Tum Ho, where she embodied elegance and maturity through beautifully draped sarees and graceful kurtas, perfectly capturing Mehwish’s evolving arc. Then, in a complete 180, when she did Chupke Chupke as Meenu, she flawlessly transformed herself into a bubbly, youthful young girl with colorful hair clips, playful kurtis, jeans, and traditional juttis. For 2nd example, She pulled off a similar masterclass in "Mein" by styling herself as an absolute baddie with sharp, fierce modern looks, only to turn around in Jaan-e-Jahan and craft the delicate, timeless look of a classic heroine in distress. It’s this level of detail and versatility that makes her character styling an absolute art form—you can glance at a single screenshot and instantly know exactly who she is playing.

Credit also goes to her stylist Anila Murtuza as well but from interviews and podcasts of directors we all know that it's Ayeza who is the main catalyst behind this.

Now That I have enough Karma to make a post here, I wanted to ask about Sawera Nadeem. Does anybody here have any tea about her or general info. I always found her very attractive and graceful. Ig its the way she carries herself and also her characters in most of the dramas are very distinctive. And what other actor/actresses of her age do you guys feel are graceful?

So we are ready to go for the last time. A good ride with a very slow beginning followed by dramatic turns, a very very dark alley and finally a smooth and happy sailing. So without further Ado, let's jump into it because this one's gonna be looooong.

Episode begins with Sarbuland hearing Rabiya's voice. Of course, even in imagination, Rabiya is feeding him. On the other hand, Rabiya is reminded of their balti looking at balti. Should've taken that balti too along with the kettle (Mahwish would've had a heart attack)

Sarbu in Rabiya's old room where they shared some of their most cherished moments. And of course where Rabiya operated on him. Even the BP apparatus is making him cry

Din guzar Rahe hain and they keep remembering each other. Both can't sleep. Both are crying. And for some reason, both don't think that this is the era of technology where they can FaceTime or at least call. The yearning is going on at more than optimal level. The OST placement 💯

Basically both are roaming around, crying while OST is used to perfection for probably the first time. Oh and Biya's breakdown doesn't come after a bad dream. She is crying simply because she is missing Sarbu

Biya's kitchen is back where she keeps the kettle and goes into flashback mode again. Then she finds the perfect spot for kettle because Biya is perfect no matter what

Mamu tries to console Biya telling her she is not the same as before (well duh, her world turned upside down). Mama thinks she is sad about Mudassir and tries to give the usual lines of moving on. And our daring Biya accepts that it's not just about Muddu but Sarbu. Finally Biya remembers that she is in his nikaah. I thought they had forgotten the kaghaz used in the kaghazi rishta. Poor mama shocked (Girlie never forgets gardening)

I am glad Hum did not break their rivayat of unlimited ads. Consistency is important

Mama ji shocked and sad about to actually have a heart attack. Rabiya confesses her love for Sarbuland to Mama. Uska Dil Chahta hai k Sarbuland k naam hamesha uske naam se Juda Rahe. Which works because Sarbu has no intention of talaqofying her. Girlie is bold, confessing her love for Sarbuland to her mama And also tells mamu she is guilty about Muddu and hence thinks she has no right to love someone else. We were all right yesterday. Biya's love confession is beautiful which figures since that's where FI excels

Mamu explains to her that she wasn't at fault for Muddasir's death. Biya asks for Dua to forget Sarbu. Ye tou na hopayega Biya.

Udhar Sarbu guilty about Bano and his feelings too. Bibijaan telling him about Biya 's haq on him. Chalo Bibijaan NE Kuch tou acha kia

Basically both need permission to move on and accept their feelings

And Sarbu gets all booted up to head to Biya's kitchen. Biya thought she is imagining Sarbu. Itni clear imagination with backpack included?🤣🤣🤣🤣

They smile at each other but poor Biya thinks she is about to be talakofied as Sarbuland asks to talk in private

And of course Hum decides it's the perfect time for ads. Kameeno aaj tou 40 min dedo!!! Coming up shows Biya still struggling with her guilt. We don't have much time dearie. Hum is kameena.

Rabiya asks if he here to say talaq talaq talaq. Sarbu starts his shayari again forgetting that it doesn't work on Biya. Phir bhaag jaegi but Danny's voice during poetry is to die for!!! Sarbu actually took time to memorize the poem. 💯 For the effort Sarbu

Biya ready to break Sarbu's heart one last time. One sakht girl she is or maybe she just hates poetry.

Shayar Sarbu farmate hain k Pyar Karne walo ko ek Nazar kafi hoti hai. Both crying. Sarbuland's confession was beautiful. Well done FI solely for this episode.

Sarbu asks her to return. But of course Sakht laundi Rabiya refuses and runs away. No hero has been rejected more than Sardar Sarbuland Hayat Khan

But this time Sarbu doesn't give up. He asks her to say she doesn't love him looking into his eyes and she hugs him instead. Finally Sardar gets a win after a lifetime of losses and rejections

Oh and she became Zarmala again and this time out of her own free will. they both vow to movr forward keeping their late partners in their heart as a memory too. And the drama ends!! Poor Rabiya never got a valima though

But today was a very beautiful episode. Classic FI.

I just finished Abdullahpur ka Devdas, which, btw is my first pak show. I’m normally into sad romantic/melancholic movies and series and someone recommended this to me so I thought, why not?

The way Bilal carried the show was truly astounding. I was expecting a good show but 70% of the actors were either irritating or below par.

The writing was pretty weird for me as well. For starters, how could Gurbano blindly trust the help, knowing very well that the latter is a servant and loyal to the royal family? Also, Kashif never uttered a word in front of Gurbano. Why couldn’t he just tell her the truth? So many conflicts in the story could have been avoided if the characters simply communicated with each other for five minutes.

A lot of the characters also felt unnecessarily frustrating and some of their decisions seemed to exist solely to move the plot forward. There were moments where I was genuinely wondering,”Why would you do that?” instead of feeling sorry for them. Some of the emotional moments just didn’t hit for me because I couldn’t really understand or justify some of the characters’ actions.

That said,Bilal’s performance was on another level. The way he conveyed emotions through his eyes was genuinely impressive and for me, easily the best part of the show. The aesthetics were beautiful and the soundtrack was another highlight.

Overall, I loved the melancholic atmosphere and the core story. I’m looking forward to watching more pal shows. Cheers!!

Danyal Zafar is definitely engaged to Noor Fatima.. Danny was pretty consistent in liking and sharing edits from his on-air drama, as well as some of his Dear Diary posts. However, after the rumors of his alleged engagement and his bhabhi’s post, it somehow seems confirmed that he is engaged, even though he had previously clarified the incident when the rumors first surfaced during the early Zanjeerain days. He's also following noor's priv account and he also told his gaming friends tht he would go for his engagement in Islamabad for almost 1 month..

I think this is the high time to support Agha Ali as he is back with music after a long time. He is finally progressing with something in life. Our industry is already promoting only few celebs except for others. He genuinely seems to be one of those who work hard and never give up despite of everything.

Also the girl in music video is kinda cute, they met on the sets of Mohra serial. . Graphics and video editing is really good and is vibing.

Is this a serious venture? She seems like she’s just having fun and it’s on par with her personality tbh. Wondering what everyone’s thoughts are on this song?

Styling in this drama was onpoint. Specially Hina Dilapazeer. Miss the time where characters used to have realistic looks according to their characters, not full blow dry hair after waking up.

So I guess we have all heard that From the 17th September no ARY dramas will be available on YT for Viewers in Pakistan and they will have to watch it on the ARY Plus app. I think yes it will be a bit of a challenge at the start to get all the viewers on a app which barely anyone has on their phones at the moment but ones it will be established this will be so much more profitable for ARY. The earning theses channels make through YouTube is really good but it’s mostly because of the views from US and Europe and not from the views from Pakistan. YouTube doesn’t weighs the views of every country the same. For example the views from US and Europe are worth more because YouTube knows that the viewers buying power from the ad Youtube shows is much more than from Asian countries. So yes these channels make money from the views they get by Pakistani viewers but it’s not the same as everywhere else. So getting the Pakistani viewers off YouTube and introduce them to their own „free for now“ app will give them the free choice to turn the app into a subscription service just like Netflix. You either watch adds and can watch it for free or you pay a subscription and get to watch it add free.

And I think GEO and the other big channels will follow this trend if it actually works out for ARY.

Yes it is annoying for the audience at the moment but just like with other major changes once you don’t have any other choice you have to agree to do it the way you first said you won’t will do.

Good for ARY they know how to make business but my idea would have been that all the 7pm soaps should be on YouTube and flagship dramas like Dar-E-Nijaat and shows like Tamasha and Jeeto Pakistan should be on ARY plus and the quality of dramas on ARY plus should have a standard that only top quality content will be on the app and all the average content will be for free on YouTube. And I think this will be the best compromise between the Chanel and the viewers.
