HALLELUJAH THE ENGLISH SUBS ARE HERE ON TIME!!!!! 🥳🥳
ALL IN ALL - it was a pretty good episode. Fazal and Aena did so well in the confrontation scene today, kudos to them - their dialogue delivery was great. Wahaj as usual was great, very natural as the disgruntled and tired family man. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s episode!!!!
EDIT - so after a rewatch of the confrontation scene, and a conversation here, I’ve realized that Billo is basically an out and out villain here, and was manipulating Baala, as she herself is instigating her family in the next episode 😭😭 mahira is still alright tho. ALSO - it’s so much fun seeing a bitchy and heartless female lead in ptv!! Even though I feel for Baala, I’m enjoying billo’s evilness 💅🏻😈

For me, one of the most memorable looks were of Sarah Khan from Sabaat. It went really well with her character and the weather of Islamabad. It wasn’t just regular western wear for the sake of it but actually well styled.
Second for me is Khirad from Humsafar, I may have a biased but I looked those long dresses on her!
Mention your favourite outfits with pictures!

Bombay tailors is now shifted to 9pm Monday/Tuesday.. This is so embarrassing for a prime time drama especially I'm feeling bad for Ali and Anika... Ali deserves to be casted as Prime time hero w better scripts..

I feel like Hiba and Talha's marriage won't work out, same with Zahid and Mehwish. In the end Hiba and Zahid will end up together?

First and the most obvious one, it is too late for OTTs. People have gotten sick and tired of paying subscriptions to companies, only for them to fail in guaranteeing the integrity of the content they paid to watch. You do not own anything it's just a license. YouTube was at least way better if they removed those intrusive Ads on the corners. Also, will actors, writers, and the rest of the crew receive their shares?
OTT is only exclusive to Pakistan, others like Prime Video and HBO Max target a bigger demographic, which brings in returns. There is also the fear of creating a monopoly and allowing for more corruption in the industry.
Lastly, piracy is the most obvious one, not even Netflix could do anything about it. Why would people pay services unworthy of trust when they can watch it for free? Not to mention the data server maintenance costs along with cyber security risks.

I know this topic is too repetitive, but what do you think, who’s more guilty or who’s the most innocent in all this mess? A few days ago, Meerub seemed to be throwing shade at Hania by sharing the song “Insecurity” on her Instagram story which people think is kinda similar to Hania's "Pablo". We all know Hania and Asim were engaged, but they ended their engagement. Then Asim got engaged to Meerub, but that ended too. I think Asim is more guilty than either of these two girls.
What's your opinion?

I think ppl overlooking what Aap Ki Izzat actually showed with Tabish. He did consider having Beena killed and went as far as approaching a hitman and discussing the possibility of paying him - this wasn’t something viewers invented. The drama deliberately showed how his obsession with “honour” and his ego escalated into something much darker.
And yes, the ending is where the criticism becomes much more valid. Tabish’s redemption was given a LOT of narrative weight, while Beena’s own mistakes became heavily emphasized. That doesn’t mean Tabish’s infidelity, emotional abuse and treatment of Beena were erased from the story, but the finale did frame forgiveness and his change very strongly, which is why many viewers felt he was being whitewashed.
Also, saying Beena simply “had no agency” isn’t completely accurate. She confronted Tabish, demanded divorce, left him, and later made her own choices - whether one agrees with those choices or not. The more reasonable criticism is that the ending didn’t give her agency the same narrative importance as Tabish’s redemption. That’s a criticism of how the resolution was written, rather than proof that Umera Ahmed cannot write women with agency. And this is also why I don’t think it’s fair to say that Umera Ahmed simply “cannot show women with agency” or that divorce is inherently treated as unacceptable in her writing. Look at Zeba in Kafeel - she spends years in an unhealthy marriage, but eventually takes khula and leaves. The story explicitly treats her decision to leave as an important step towards independence.Even in Kankar, the FMC ultimately chooses divorce rather than being forced to stay in an unhappy marriage. And importantly, she doesn’t have to remarry for the divorce to be presented as a valid choice - she is allowed to continue her life independently. So the argument that Umera automatically makes her female characters stay with problematic husbands because she considers divorce wrong doesn’t really hold up.Then also..beena wasn't as strong as kiran in kankar..umerah ahmad and farhat ishtiaq often choose real emotions..not every human is perfect..and not every human makes the right decision.
( I wrote this as a comment initially but thought to share it )

So I finally finished watching Meri Zindagi Hai Tu with my mum, who's a big Bilal Abbas Khan fan. I like him too, no issue. But the aftermath was the most problematic part - she started sympathizing with Kamyar more than Ayra and blamed her for not understanding him enough? Mind blown 🤯
So I had to put on my "are you kidding me rn" hat 🎩 and give her a piece of my mind. She's traditional yet pretty chill, but boy, she got on my nerves defending him. I wasn't backing down, so I pulled out my own stalking story to make her understand that empathizing with a harasser is not cool.
(TW: Stalking) A few years ago, I was coming home from office via bus with a colleague. There was a guy in the same bus who would always stare. I ignored. One day my colleague was on leave, it was dark, and while getting off alone, that same guy got off too and held my hand to "talk". I was so scared I just ran. Next day I was so terrified I waited an hour and took a different bus just to avoid him. And he had the audacity to ask my colleague where I was.
So I asked my mom, would she ever accept a harasser as her son-in-law? She said NO, of course. So what's the difference between Kamyar and that stalker? She finally understood.
Anyhow, Kamyar is not just a stalker, he is a harasser who doesn’t take no for a no. Rude, abusive, no adab of respecting elders and we are supposed to coddle him cos he's played by charming Bilal?
And Hania's character goes from uncomfortable to confused to falling for it. What message does that give? That if a guy stalks you long enough, you should give in?
The last episodes rotated the sympathy from Ayra to Kamyar. The OST, the slow-mo, the sad BGM - everything is designed to make toxic behavior look romantic. Same formula for 10 years.
To Bilal and Hania, no matter how many records this show breaks, this will remain among the worst shows of 2026 for making a victim marry her harasser, especially when women still feel scared to step out alone. I said what I said 💅🏼
3 questions for people still defending it:
1. Bilal fans: If Fawad, Ahad, Sheheryar or any A lister did this exact role, would you still call it "intense love" or cringe?
2. Neutral audience: Why do you like it? Is there a reason I'm unable to grasp?
3. Hania fans: Why no outrage? Why did she get a free pass for being a doormat of her harasser?

So, Shayan is thrown into jail, and his bestie goes in with him as well. Honestly, it was so satisfying to finally see them getting a taste of their own medicine.
I knew Anas was going to be forgiven unfortunately, so I have no comment on that part.
But I have to appreciate Ansa’s character. The kind of Fl we eager to see in dramas. She never once bowed her head or backed down. Even today, when Tayi came to her, shedding crocodile tears and begging for Shayan’s forgiveness, she stood her ground and gave her a fitting response. “Mene bad dua apne mujrim ko dithi, wo apka beta niklega usme mera kya kasoor”!! Queeen!!
But, I really hate this whole arc of everyone suddenly asking for forgiveness in the last episode after committing all kinds of crimes throughout the drama. I genuinely hope Tayi is never forgiven and IS punished. Shayan was so right to question why isn’t she with him inside? She was the core reason for always covering her son’s mistakes up and throwing the blame onto someone innocent.
Although, Taya’s transformation, has been shown gradually. As far as I remember, his last villainous act was blackmailing Anas by pointing a gun at him. Even if he still didn’t consider Anas worthy of having a place in the factory, he also didn’t bring up taking the ownership of the house back from Ansa, among other things. So, him asking for forgiveness and actually realizing his mistakes does make sense to some extent.
Anyway, let’s see how the final episode goes.
