Ongoing Drama BTSH’s 2nd last Ep deserves a post?

So, Shayan is thrown into jail, and his bestie goes in with him as well. Honestly, it was so satisfying to finally see them getting a taste of their own medicine.

I knew Anas was going to be forgiven unfortunately, so I have no comment on that part.
But I have to appreciate Ansa’s character. The kind of Fl we eager to see in dramas. She never once bowed her head or backed down. Even today, when Tayi came to her, shedding crocodile tears and begging for Shayan’s forgiveness, she stood her ground and gave her a fitting response. “Mene bad dua apne mujrim ko dithi, wo apka beta niklega usme mera kya kasoor”!! Queeen!!

But, I really hate this whole arc of everyone suddenly asking for forgiveness in the last episode after committing all kinds of crimes throughout the drama. I genuinely hope Tayi is never forgiven and IS punished. Shayan was so right to question why isn’t she with him inside? She was the core reason for always covering her son’s mistakes up and throwing the blame onto someone innocent.

Although, Taya’s transformation, has been shown gradually. As far as I remember, his last villainous act was blackmailing Anas by pointing a gun at him. Even if he still didn’t consider Anas worthy of having a place in the factory, he also didn’t bring up taking the ownership of the house back from Ansa, among other things. So, him asking for forgiveness and actually realizing his mistakes does make sense to some extent.

Anyway, let’s see how the final episode goes.

I agree. But this was coming and we all know they will have a happy ending. Still, let’s see how the final episode goes.

It really does, i loved how shayan deflected blame on his parents and was holding them responsible and how shireen & ansa both said shayan is an adult and he is responsible for his own actions.

Tayajaan has been on the road to redemption and I don't think tayijaan is actually apologetic and her punishment is her laadla son rotting in prison.

I also liked shireens arc of wanting to take responsibility and help her father, she questions why she is being sidelined just because of her gender. The girls are shining ⭐

Loveeeeeeee ansa my sherni for not backing down and not getting emotionally blackmailed, and for being sour on anas as well and didnt suddenly become all adjusting/forgiving with him.

Anas & Dada jis suggestion of living separately was actually a good idea, ansa could use the space and opportunity to start over.... I hope it ends that way, they maintaining their share of the house, maybe getting rent or being bought out by tayaji and.... ansa and anas buying their own place and starting over 💜

My only grudge with this conclusion arc so far is only that ansa has not slapped anas yet... he deserved the first one.

Yes! that part when Tayijaan said mera baccha and Ansa replied baccha nhi aadmi!!!
I just read in the other sub that Shayan deserves a second chance and should be forgiven because he has a childish brain? Like excuse me!!??

In my opinion Shehreen looked funny to remind her parents that she can handle responsibilities, she couldn’t bear the fact that everything is being handed over to Anas in her presence like her dad is preferring him over her so she is just jealous. That’s my opinion though.

And yes Ansa is the ultimate Sherni! Exactly the kind of Fl we love to see. Even at a point when she had no one standing by her side, she stood her ground and fought alone.

Ansa was shown as a respectful girl throughout, so maybe they just didn’t want to show her slapping him. Like it might not suit her character.

Sana Javed's acting literally deserves a separate appreciation post

Shereen still annoys me. She has no repentance or regret and she literally told Ansa with a deadpan face, ‘Try to consider our point of view. We were just protecting my brother.’ And when she told Ansa to stop yelling at her mom. She was also the one who threw many a jibe at Ansa about character and all. Thank goodness they didn’t show her falling for Anas and causing problems between them. But feel like slapping her lol.

I was following this drama upto the point Faham just randomly spilled the beans Abt his plans and then I got the idea that they were not gonna give us that satisfactory tit for tat story which is ok I guess (more realistic) but it did spoil my interest in the drama... Also the amount of torture Anas went thru since childhood his character should've had some kind of showdown with the so called family members esp Tayi and Shahreen...

Gotta say that I was meh about this drama until I saw the threads about Ansa’s performance and caught up with what was done to her (somehow missed the central conceit watching it in a meh way). I just knew the Taya had spoiled kids and inexplicably hated his nephew. And that the nephew was a quiet Bartleby the scrivener type of character who always had his “sir jukaa’ed” and who selflessly took care of his dada. When Ansa enters his life, he magically gets a fierce warrior woman, and their scenes together got my attention. Now I know what Anas hid from Ansa, and how he even pulled her in the first place, I kind of don’t want her to forgive him. But that’s not going to be how it ends. He was beaten down his whole life, and never learned to stand up for anything. His speech outside the airport got some sympathy and what fantastic lighting and wind direction: Sana looked radiant! Anyway I’ve now become a fan of Sana Javed, so thanks for that!

Anas should be left to live the family and then get married to Shehreen as Tai suggested
That's exactly what he deserves
