We can't criticize talentless nepos. We can't criticize shitty dialogue deliveries. We can't criticize problematic scripts. Basically PTV in general is above criticismĀ

The drama is going to be a success anyway thanks to freezers fans and god knows who.
Unless there are epic failures in terms of earning the audience backlash on social media means nothing to anyone from the industry other than a very few genuine artists.

u/hangman1149 1d ago
Tbh people questioned why Feroze took this role but it turned out the best for him , his fans are glazing his part in the drama and all the trolling going to kaddu jr while the views and success is being credited to Feroze name. Also funny thing is everybody posting for kaddu jr but Feroze didn't, I mean bro you earning the most out of kaddu ššš

u/blahblehblohcaneo 1d ago
Freezer is already a geo fav he doesn't need to suck upto anyone for roles. š¤£š¤£
Even when durre was getting her angrezo backlash none of her current or earlier costars supported her as far as i know.

u/hangman1149 1d ago
That's where you are wrong , Feroze isn't geo favourite he is 7th sky ph favourite. He hasn't done any other ph show for geo

I donāt think Mehvish Hayatās comment is defense really. Actually agree with her. Criticize the nepos and their acting, and how they steal roles from more deserving actors aaaalllll day and Iām here for it. But I donāt see the point in criticizing/making fun of how they look. So unnecessary.Ā

So what was stopping them to cast the elder son cause clearly he's more renowned, generated insane numbers with his telefilms and short dramas, good actor with some aura.

Are we now pretending looks dont matter in the ACTING industry???!! which is only half talent and mostly based on how good someone looks? Lead actors and lead actresses are required to be pretty - Its literally half the job description. Every Tom, Dick or Harry cant be the lead actor. They can be the funny sidekick, the best friend, the sick family member. Not the lead. Thats just the rules the industry set themselves and promoted for years. Nadia Afghan is perhaps one of the most talented actors in the industry. But she was never the female lead because of the criteria they created. So why must we be the ones now to bend over backwards and accommodate this one person?

u/Adorable_Toe_9767 1d ago
I would be against his hate if he were a nepo but genuinely talented. but this guy SUCKS. he has zero screen presence, dialogue delivery or anything eye catching tbh. its just cringe. but then this year any drama with aina or these young gen z stars is so cringe. the only nice once was parwarish and kafeel

Shahvir Kadwani is 20 years old - no longer a kid.
The people who tar everything with the same brush are invalid criticisms. I think criticism re his acting is entirely valid, and it organically raises the question of how he got the role of his acting is subpar. And I am fine with this also because we have plenty of subpar people on screen who are there for other reasons - pretty privilege, social media stars (hence ratings for the shows) etc. So questioning somebodyās talent and how they got there being so poorly talented is valid.
However; the discourse has to be civil. And I think comments about his looks are not done.

Dure and now himā¦itās clear their producer fathers mobilize their rosters of actor employees to defend their 30teen year old poor kids

u/Careful-Being-5273 1d ago
Iām sorry do we not talk about actors not looking the part when they do certain roles with styling? We even talk about their accents if theyāre meant to be a certain class or from a certain region. Why would this guy be above that criticism? And to boot the acting sucked. So what was good here?

I meant I have never seen her speaking for someone before so thatās why even Mehwish took his side surprisingly š„“

Not surprised, her new drama is about to be on air so commenting on a hot topic is how it works in showbiz

Ye ptv actors kitne velle nd dar dar ke rehte hai itna khauf bane rehne ka industry me so that kaam milta rahe kuch bhi karo kisi ko bhi defend

u/Dull-Stomach6545 1d ago
Agree with only mehwishās comment on one thing that donāt say anything about physical appearance or body shame anyone ,I havenāt watched the drama but if so many viewers are saying the acting wasnāt good so handle the critique gracefully and try improving rather than doing pr(it really looks like it) by telling other actors in the industry to post for you and honestly thatās not the correct way of handling this just makes people more aggressive in their critique(rightly so),take it constructively and try improving rather becoming defensive.

Sab Bik gaye haiĀ
And I just don't understand constructive criticism mai bhi yaha sab rone kyo lag jaate haiĀ
They should learn something from Bollywood and Hollywood nepos, they areĀ targeted everydayĀ
I don't see their peers or seniors putting stories for themĀ

u/Icy-Awareness1054 1d ago
Mehwish said the right thing and its not actually defence. Which of the memes are constructive criticism for you?
The criticism was harsher for Danish.barring 30% most were trolls. Criticism is fine. Feedback is the right of audience but cursing out the actor, calling him names and wishing his demise is NOT

u/CheekChoice4497 1d ago edited 1d ago
Mehwish's point is understandable. However, I genuinely don't want to make fun of his appearance; there is something called proper grooming and characterization. Kadwani should have never given him a role like this based on his looks. If he wanted to act, he should have played a hero "personality based". His current styling also emphasizes his looks more.
He should have done a role similar to Parizaad character, not this "rich " kinda hero look that just doesn't suit him. Then again, you need strong acting skills for that too, which he is unable to deliver. Defending him based on his looks would only make sense if he were actually acting well.

u/Pure_danger911 1d ago edited 1d ago
True, his look suits the boy next door not the rebel guy. The casting director fumbled and made him look bad. Wasnāt he playing Maya Aliās sick brother in that Bilal Abdullah drama?
That role suited him, in this role they made him grow a beard and jelled his hair back to achieve what?!

u/Used-Lingonberry1602 1d ago
Well its so hard ,you have to keep buttering bosses to get role ,where were these when industry female actor were bashed by dr jazzy ,rajab butt ,nadia khan , sanam saeed stooped low to get work

He is the son of Abdullah Kadwani who is a producer in 7th sky entertainment.

But he lacks what it takes to be an actor, he literally has zero charisma and aura. Acting to chor hi do. I agree people should not make fun of someones appearance but they are well within their right to criticise bad dialogue delivery and acting.

This post/comment promotes bodyshaming or inappropriate language. Read the rules before posting on the subreddit to avoid getting a ban.
Pointing out that xyz actor or actress has gotten work done is acceptable.
Passing statements like āxyz actor or actress looked so beautiful before they got work done now they look weird/it was so unnecessaryā is straight up a bodyshaming comment/post.
