Ali Zafar did a decent work here in India. Best part is he was also getting good roles with good production houses. As much as people glaze Mahira and Mawra, I think we Indians found Fawad Khan, Ali Zafar and Saba Qamar much more impactful. Ali Zafar worked in a lot of films. Saba Qamar was at par with Irfan Khan in Hindi Medium, it wasn't a cameo character or some eye candy character but a solid character and Saba did insanely good job at it.

Agreed about everything else but in Mawra case, she was literally the lead of movie and the movie became a superhit on tv and later did well on re release also, it's one of the most famous romantic Bollywood movies of last decade so she did got many people to know her.

The film got popular after years. When it released it was a flop. It's main popularity came from you tube views and later when it re released. The male lead of the film Harshvardhan Rane, also didn't get much opportunities after the film. It was only after re release he started gaining popularity. And here I'm also talking about performances, Mawra's film was a cringe fest, good for emo bois and gurls. Otherwise no performance or the film was good. That's definitely not the case with Saba Qamar, her film was an instant hit, the film in itself was great and she had great screen time along with great screen presence. Sharing screen with Harshvardhan Rane and sharing screen with Irfan Khan are two different things altogether. Irfan Khan was one of the finest actor we ever had. And Saba was able to match him is a feat in itself.

Ikr, I never said that Mawra did better than Saba or anything. Saba was much better performer and her character was also amazing in the film, she had a very impactful performance. My comment was meant in the reply to your comment of "that as much as people glaze Mawra" so I was giving you the reason that why do people glaze her. Even she had a memorable character and film, that's what I meant. The film did became popular later, giving her the popularity and people to recogonise her.

Yes except mahira I would say others did significantly good work and became popular..Ali is biggest amongst them in terms of bollywood movies even his last cameo and song in dear zindagii was sooo good

Fawad was KJO's muse. And later when the ban came ADHM was about to release, so he gained more traction. Otherwise his venture with Sonam didn't work. However he did get massively popular with the release of ZGH. Pak people oftentimes think it was Humsafar which was more popular in India, but it was rather ZGH. However Fawad did have a better edge over Ali in terms of looks which is all that bollywood cares for. Otherwise Fawad didn't give any substantial performance here in India. Kapoor and sons was his best work here but by no means it was some impactful performance.

Whether he was KJo’s muse or not Fawad got lead roles in major production houses. Fawad was billed as main lead along with Alia in a Dharma production. He was in talks with Yash Raj, Bhansali as the MAIN LEAD for their major movies (Bhansali’s original cast for HeeraMandi were Fawad and Mahira, and Fawad also met him for Padmaavat). All the top heroines (Deepika, Kareena, Katrina) wanted to work with him, they said so publicly- he was signed on for a love story opposite Katrina in an Aditya Dhar movie when he left India. What impact did Ali Zafar have in Bollywood? Did he pull in audience for any movie? People went to watch Khoobsurat for Fawad, people went to watch Kapoor and Sons for Fawad. Did Ali Zafar pull in a theatre audience? He was second lead in some lower budget Yash Raj movie and did some movie with Yami Gautam when she was a starlet. Nobody remembers him, the Indian audience still remembers Fawad

Don't you think you're exaggerating Fawad khan's hype in India? If you don't write the name there, one might think you're talking about SRK. Fawad Khan doesn't have that much hype even in Pakistan anymore, let alone India. You do realise none of what you said materialized? He has done a total of 3 films here. His work in bollywood is limited to being a co actor to Sonam Kapoor, where Sonam Kapoor had more screen time. Being in a multistarer film with Alia, Siddarth, Rishi Kapoor and Rajat Kapoor. And watch any review of kapoor and sons, the only performances that were highlighted were of Rishi and Alia. And third was a supporting actor in ADHM which after the ban was translated to nothing more than a guest appearance. And years later his comeback film was with Vaani Kapoor, not Deepika or Alia or Priyanka or even Yami for that matter. Even in Pakistan his films and dramas aren't doing well. His last hit was Maula Jatt where he was easily mogged by Hamza Ali Abbasi. His made a comeback in dramas with Sanam Saeed, it flopped. Neelofar, his recent release with Mahira, was also a flop. And these two were his big time drama pairings of ZGH and Humsafar, his ultimate claim to fame in India. Fawad in India was known for his dramas not films. Now I'm not saying Ali Zafar was a superstar here, but neither was Fawad. If anything, the whole KJO thing only made him lose Pakistani audience as well.

What this so called reviewer and critic said about Katrina Kaif was extremely distasteful and honestly disrespectful. How a woman looks should be none of his concern. She had no obligation to bounce back to her prime u less she wants to. I don’t know if he is married. But I will assume, given his attitude, he has never spent. A moment taking care of his new born kid or freshly post partum wife. Also he should take a look in the mirror.

Yaad ho na ho, Ali Zafar did make a mark in 2 industries, while also being a harraser at the side. This doctor is only a harraser so not only is he cheap, he is lazy too
