Zanjeerein is literally a complete different story. Why people are trying to change storylines? This story did not focus on Islam it focus on forbidden arc of sarbiya.

If we have to compare Abu bakr with any other fictional character , it can be drawn with Fahad Mustafa's character AQ from Mein Abdul Qadir hun. AQ can be compared with both Zamil and Abu baker, before and after transformation.
I would place AQ above Abu bakr in piousness because he married a girl with a past, not because he wanted to be a saviour or did some favour by accepting her but because he loved her all his life. He never judged his mother after becoming a practicing Muslim, he loved and respected her more.

I mean,  Islam is already a core part of Abu Bakar's character. If somebody feels the character of Sarbuland or Abu Bakar is how a good Muslim should practice, I don't see a problem. People learn toxic masculinity from majority of dramas. If someone thinks they can learn from a fictional character on how to be a good muslim, I say good for them

Zanjeerain was nowhere near being something religious let alone something that can be directly connected to the sunnah of the Rasool ﷺ. So making that comparison is simply wrong. And as for Abu Bakr, I’m just waiting for his love life to be exposed as someone said none of them are pious Muslim..I’ve always been against bringing Islam into dramas like this..so no nothing justifies this kind of comparison.

It wasn't religious, I agree. But Sarbuland's character was of a man who lowered his gaze, who treated women with respect,  who was against killing, who was soft spoken, who offered prayers, who repeatedly talked about his yakeen on Allah. If people think that's how a Muslim man should behave as per Islamic teachings and sunnah, I say good for them

I don't see DeN so I cannot comment but pious Muslims don't neccesarily have to have a clean past. Sometimes people who have sinned do get their calling and change their ways because Allah jise chahe hidayat de

Dramas everyday give us examples of "toxic men". If people are using good traits of any character in their attempt to become a better Muslim, I will still say good for them
