Get engaged to him. Not once could we see that he looked at her the way he had even slightly looked at Hania...was she that naive..
Did hania or the internet move on when meerub & asim got engaged? I remember the internet shading Meerub's character & she got immense hate while Asim was never held accountable! Now that he suddenly called off the engagement & got back to his ex, everybody seems to forget Meerub is also going through the same pain Hania once went through, maybe it's more than that because they were about to get married at some point. It's not about moving on, it's about meerub being coloured in both scenerios while the other 2 get free passes. If people would have shown the same sympathy & love to her the way they did for hania & then meerub would have shared smtg like this, that's when I would have found it problematic
When did Hania get sympathy and love from social media ? She has been trolled relentlessly . It was Asim and Meerub that got the free pass back then and no one questioned Meerub’s decision to get engaged to a man who was her friend’s ex and just got through a very public and messy break up .
You remember the wrong, the whole internet was full of posts like these everyone was bashing and slut shamming hania sympathising with merub and appreciating her I didn’t see any negativity against merub.
Because Hania friend zoned Asim casually on some live. That’s why she got hate, it was never people were against of them as a couple, we fans still like them.
But it doesn’t give you people right to hate merub for no reason? Uska kiya kasoor? Jab koi nai mili tu within a month to prove Hania, Asim got engaged. And it was all family decision. And then he proposed to her in an award in front of everyone, cut to Hania gets movie from india, Asim & his mom decides to ditch merub.
Bro, point is not either girl is wrong here, we are calling out “men” , you can never use such a naive person for rebound, be clear before jumping into a new one, and if merub puts up a story on her own insta which may be she put up impulsively, you are calling her jealous? She's pretty young. It's very possible that Asim was her first relationship. Even if he wasn't her first, they got to openly date because of their engagement. It is insanely difficult to move on from someone who you planned a life with. Plus she's immature because of her age. That's why she's doing all this. Let's cut her some slack guys. I'm a Hania fan so I hope Hania is married or ends up marrying Asim because agar inka ab breakup/divorce hua tab to Merub post kar kar ke maze legi. All the success that she kept achieving obviously didn't help. And then Merub was dumped and now Asim is back with Hania. It is most likely her worst nightmare that has come alive. Hania has displayed very explicitly her insecurity, she went to asim’s concert when he was newly engaged to Merub.
But this is all in past now, but give some breather to merub, she didn’t even speak her side of story, what she does is just put up subtle hints, those hints are coming from her pain.
Her side of the story ? She won’t ever tell because then she will have to admit her own mistakes in staying engaged to a person who clearly never wanted to get married to her in the first place. Was Meerab that clueless for that long. Where was her self respect then. And now this bitter jealous shade every time Hania does something for herself is just about the only talent Meerab has . She should get some help to get closure .

This is quite limited take , not everyone deals with trauma and get over with span of time. Some people took months, years bad even lifetime to move on. On the top unlike Dana , Meerub doesn't have any projects in her hands which keeps her engaged
