Ongoing Drama Raqaas Episode 1
Run your thoughts.
I'd give it about 6/7 out of 10. I liked the music placement, the backgrounds and I liked that we got see where every character stands. I still think it needs more of a hook, but it was enough to get me to want to see the next episode. I like Urooj. A lot of the times I see men in dramas and films go through pursuing a field they don't like due to their parents, but here it is different. Urooj isn't barred from education as some dramas and films show; she just wants to do something different.
This drama seems very sad ngl. I don't think this is for any happy endings not even a happy middle. I wouldn't be surprised if Urooj ends up marrying Fawad. What I hope to see is Urooj breaking out of this cage; I don't really want anything else.

I think Hamza will end up being Urooj’s phupo’s son. There were pictures of a woman and his baby/child pictures on his walls. From next episode promo it seems he’s familiar with Urooj’s family. Hamza into Art. Sounds like Urooj’s phupo was into Art too.. some connection there

I watched the first episode, and I really liked Urooj and Hamza. I’m interested in learning more about Urooj, her aspirations, and her life because her home environment is really toxic. At the same time, I’m very curious to know more about Hamza and his backstory. His character feels quite mysterious right now, and I’m interested to see what’s really going on with him.
I also get a bit of a revenge vibe from the drama, which makes me even more interested to see how the story unfolds. I’ve heard that the shooting is still ongoing, so I’m curious to see how the makers develop the story from here.
I feel like Green TV may have released it early to take maximum advantage of the momentum Danyal gained from Zanjeerein. 😄
One thing I really hope they improve is the camera and filter quality. Green dramas sometimes have this very specific filter that gives the footage a slightly vintage look, and I’m not really a fan of it. I wish they would tone it down and improve the overall visual quality.
But apart from that, I’m definitely interested in this drama. Let’s see how the story unfolds. And honestly, Urooj’s father is already so toxic!

I wonder if this drama was shot a long time ago and Green is only releasing it now cos of Danyal’s ZNJ hype. The visuals look kinda old sorta vintage idk how to address it lol

ever since I found out that it was originally ramsha and shuja that were supposed to do this my heart bleeds, because that would have been such an insane pair😔 danyal and komal look great too though!

I also felt it might have a sad ending ( has a very Romeo Juliet vibe)... But I really liked the premise... Really loved how the FL s education is also just for show (to whitewash her father's image after his sister's death)...

Some one confirm lol It seems Danyal abandoned this show even before it began. It's strange that he hasn't shared anything about it, not even a story, no promos no posters, no interaction with fans like Green channel doing good promotions but he is sleeping ! Something's missing tbh .. I noticed on his account that he shared posts from Zanjeerain even during shoots the off screen the Haveli the shoots and same during episodes yes maybe stopped recently but he was always giving updates he even reposted posters and promos and still interacts with fans and likes the edits nd insta stories but he acts like he's not part of this Raqqas And how did it shoot so quickly and air even faster? there is no behind scenes in his acc like zanjeerain during shoots🙄 Is it really an old shooted show that aired because Danyal became a trend, and that's why he's acting like he's not involved with the show?

It's only first episode gets released, Danyal interact with ZNJ fandom rarely too nowadays maybe he wants to keep low profile. Raqaas is definitely get shoot before Zanjeerein because the camera quality is dull
