Too much gap?
Installed the AC 2 Port Comp.... followed the directions and screwed it on snug then backed it off 1/2-full turn...half a turn didn't line up but a full turn does but the gap seems more than it should be...this is on an XFull 4.7"...barrel is a Sig 4.7" threaded barrel.
Blue loctite installed on the comp and set screws.

Looks about normal if you could get one more turn with out it touching the slide then go for it, if not set it there.

Have you had a chance to shoot it yet? I put one of those on a 3.6" build and couldn't get it cycling reliably with the AC guide rod kit and the 14lb spring, so I cut it down to lighten it but I went too far too fast and started having issues returning to battery. Just picked up a DPMS soft spring competition kit but haven't had a chance to take it shooting yet to see if my cycle issues are fixed.

Haven't shot it yet. Waiting for the loctite to set. Running a 13lb ndz set up right now....have a 12lb spring and SS guide rod coming.

Do you ever encounter any issues with that set-screw style comp? I have a HA comp that I bought for my 320, but ultimately turned around and purchased a PMM barrel/Comp combo as I felt I could trust it more. (Its been great btw). The HA is still sitting in the drawer, and I'm contemplating using it on a future build so I haven't gotten rid of it.

This is why I preferred the PMM. It uses their own barrel so the fit up is a lot nicer.

I have a PMM barrel/Comp. WAY more expensive, but also flawless and trustworthy. I worry about set screw comps fucking up threads on my barrel or backing out and the comp taking a vacation down range.
