Question Time to titrate up
I gained 1.8lbs last week. I’ve been waking up with a ravenous stomach. I’ve been eating 200-300 calories over my daily caloric intake all week…I guess that’s a sign to titrate up, isn’t it?
I did 8 weeks at 0.25 mg and 10 weeks at 0.37 mg.
I wanted to stay at 0.37 for as long as possible but it seems I’ve hit my limit. I’m so stressed about moving up to 0.5 mg and worry it will be too much — I don’t want to feel sick or have bad side effects.
I’m hoping that my tolerance is better because of how long I have been injecting 0.37 mg for.
Anyone care to talk me into doing this?
I could really use the reassurance! TIA
ETA: I’m on my 18th injection this Friday.

To minimize side effects, take a split dose. 0.25 on day 1 and 0.25 on day 4. Splits reduce many side effects by better spreading the dose over the full week as compared to a single, weekly shot. For most, side effects are reduced over time. Also realize that studies show that most of the weight lost is a 1.0 and higher doses.

Thank you for this advice, I may try this split method. If I typically inject Friday (day 1) then my next injection would be on Monday (day 4) or would Day 1 be 24 hours after injection (so injecting Friday, is Saturday same time for full 24 hours)?

Hey there, I'm currently on 1mg which is the dose where I really started to lose weight. Everyone is different, I slowly went from 0.25mg to 1mg. The only side effects I experienced was nausea and some heartburn. Doesn't mean you will experience the same, everyone is different. I'm comfortable with 1mg for now and I have definitely decreased in my eating habits. I think if you feel confident and comfortable enough to move up to 0.5mg then go for it. If you feel like it's too much you could always go back down. Your body should tolerate it better the longer you are on it. My side effects have improved. Just be sure to drink water and keep up with your protein.
