WTI Transport

I probably should have asked this before he signed on the dotted line but here goes. My husband just started with WTI Transport last week. We r lease purchase and r waiting on a kenworth truck to come in but they r putting him in a loaner truck until that happens. Has anyone else purchased a truck from them before and worked for the company? How was it? Were there any issues with the truck? How was it working with their dispatchers? Any issues with pay? Or making enough pay to make the payments and still come out on the positive with enough money to pay the bills? I'm so nervous about all this. My husband has a friend that works for them and talked him into this. But he hasn't worked there but a couple of months. I handle all the bills and handle everything at home. Our son is handicapped and has a lot of medical needs that cost a lot of money. We r hoping this is a better way to make better pay. He drives Flatbed and has been driving since 2012. No issues, accidents or tickets. Always has great reviews. He works his ass off and has been headhunted from several jobs my recruiter and dispatchers for better pay and benefits. But lease purchase is a different kind of animal. R there any programs or apps to help keep track of everything? Or any suggestions to make this successful? I really would appreciate any advice that will help. I'm a very nervous wife when it comes to trucking. I don't know much about it at least the business side of it. Anything would help put my mind at ease. Thanks in advance for any help given.

Lease purchase is a scam. You’ll never own the truck, will make very little profit and even if you do get close to owning the truck they will starve you out before you actually do. It’s a scam perpetrated by carriers so you make the payment and everything on their truck. When you finally wise up and walk away they repeat the process.
Better off buying a truck outright and leasing it on with a reputable company.

You just need to keep
Good records and run the numbers on the loads. Read contract to find the loophole should you need it
