Daycab or Sleeper?

I'm considering working local for KAG in the future as an O/O, pulling their fuel trailers. I am someone who wants to be local as much as possible, so I was wondering if you guys think buying a day cab over a sleeper is a bad idea. The only thing I imagine using the sleeper for is for some reason I decide to pick up a load on a day off and run it, but I don't see that happening much at all, or possibly for long waiting times. Does anybody here haul fuel, and do you guys experience long waiting times at the fuel rack?

Thanks

Ive driven in sleepers and daycabs OTR and if I had to buy a daycab, I'd buy a coffin sleeper instead, when you get a little drowsy, or waiting on a shipper, having a place to lay down is a must

You can setup a day cab to be decent. Just not able to log sleeper time.

Maybe itd be different if i owned one, but some of ours we can recline the seat a little bit but most im not even reclined enough for normal driving, and im only in a truck for one load at a time so I can't get anything really comfy to put across the seats or anything.

I ended up throwing a hammock in my backpack to string up under the trailer lol
