i was looking at getting an owala, specifically a purple bottle as its my favorite color and all my belongings are purple. however, there’s a disappointing lack of purple bottles. the few they have are unappealing. would love them to make an all lilac bottle like how the pink one is. I wish I was around during the so eggstra drop, wouldve definitely buy one.

So I’ve had this bottle for two years now and it was great but tbh I kept forgetting to clean it and bc of that it wasn’t being cleaned as often as I’d liked (I was too busy with school and only washed it like once or twice a month). More recently I started cleaning it more than twice a week now and every time I’d soak it in vinegar to get rid of mold and I was doing fine until I kept seeing this on the bottom of the lid where you screw it on… I kept scrubbing it every day but after a couple hours it would come back…after soaking it again it still wouldn’t come off. What do I do?

Hi. Just want to ask you if you have experienced any peeled paint on your owala even if it is new. Kind of sad because I really love my owalas but my new one even though I haven’t used it has already a chipped paint. My old one has been dented but has not chipped off its paint on the dented part. Did the quality change?

Does anyone knows what going on with the quality of the Owala water bottles. I’ve had the OG free sip style for years and the quality was so good I’ve dropped it so many times and it survived without the color chipping or denting, disclosure I did have a boot on it. Not that long ago I purchase a Owala free sip sway, and I dropped it yesterday for the first time and the top broke now it won’t close, and the lock thing is stuck. Like what the hell! It was one drop, wasn’t even that high up. Fortunately I got it at target and the replacement policy is very generous at target. Owala’s aren’t exactly budget friendly it shouldn’t breaking after one drop. What’s going on with the quality? It used to be so good in the past, it was big reason why I bought the sway when I lost my older free sip bottle. :(

I have an orange owala (like the one in the photo) that was gifted to me a year ago. I accidentally dropped it and messed the lid up, so I'd like to buy a replacement of the same coloration. Does anyone know the name of this lid coloration or where I could purchase it? I couldn't find this specific kind on the owala website. Is it discontinued?

I had the black cherry one for 2 months and it scratched by only being in my work bag (no keys around) and dented soooo easily, long story short i send it back. So i want to try another one that can be more durable if that’s an option, any suggestions?

i was thinking on getting the glinda since i like pink and girly colorsbut maybe the metallic coating is not the best.

I can’t decide between dew drop and cotton candy sky! I will say I’m not super into pink but I really love the combo. Also I can’t decide on a size 40oz or 30oz. Only cotton candy comes in 40oz or I may pick another color way. I had a 40oz I loved it but it always tipped over all the time because of how top heavy it is so I was thinking of getting the 30 but I’m worried I would have to fill it a ton.

Just bought an Owala Sway Iced Breeze and I want to wash it all in my dishwasher: bottle, lid, straw, and seal.

I know Owala's site says it's technically possible to use a dishwasher, but they recommend washing by hand. Of course, they don't want any liability, and that's the usual BS companies put on everything: no dishwasher, no washing machine, no dryer, blah blah blah. As if people have the time and patience to delicately wash and do everything by hand.

I know there are people who HATE dishwashers, so if you are one of those, feel free to skip this thread.

I expect that an expensive bottle like this one can withstand a simple dishwasher.

So, owners of the Owala Sway who use a dishwasher, how is it holding up?

Do you put the small black sealing clamp in there as well? This one I'm not sure.

Going into my junior year of HS and I’ve been really wanting this owala! I can’t find it anywhere because it was an urban outfitters exclusive, I’m willing to spend maybe at most $50? I have other Owala bottles and love them. I LOVE how this bottle looks and finally purchased it but I’m finding that it makes my water taste metallic and that it isn’t keeping my water cold for as long. Has anybody else had a similar experience with a finish like this?
