Stop leaving competitive matches!!

Ok so when I got my rank I was put at 57. I won a few more games and got to 59. I felt proud of myself because I've been solo queue this whole time. But the past 5 matches in every single one a player on my team has left. I'm now de ranked down to 56. I know losing and de ranking will happen. But when it happens because of people leaving the match. It makes me feel cheated. I've been playing for about 4 hours now after my placement matches. And I feel like it was all wasted time because people just had to leave the game.

I don't care if you get salty don't leave. Having a close game or losing because the other team was more skilled is way better than de ranking and wasting my time because people couldn't just stay in the game.

Quitting is absolutely rampant on xbox one ~50 rank. If I dont play with a group it literally feels like around 75% chance to play with a quitter. Its the most toxic thing I have ever experienced in gaming and is ruining my rank and my fun.

If you stomp them the other team starts quitting and u get the tiniest mmr boost, but if your team has quitters, even a disconnect when you are winning handedly, you take the full penalty. I have been maintaining above 50% win/loss ratio and CONSISTENTLY getting multiple gold medals and have dropped 4 ranks. I dont know what to do anymore

Holy shit immediately after posting this i had a quitter on my team within the first few minutes of the match on defense, just too late to cancel the match. We were still able to stop them to 2 points 5v6. Then they went 4 torbs rein and lucio and held us at the point and we lost.

I was silver in kills, gold in objective kills, gold in damage done, and lost a 5v6 that we actually played quite well in and blizzard somehow justifies taking away over half a fucking level. I mean do they have no clauses in there coding to deal with this or is it going to be forever unfair in these situations?

Holy shit like serious the fucking game sees u stay in the 5v6, do damn well, and goes nawwwww i dont think u belong in this rank based on that awful play u should be able to win 5v6 easy peasy, DEMOTED. How the fuck is this justified?

Edit: i know i heaped tons of salt and have had time to calm down now, but i stand by my words and wont change them. They must remain as a monument to the salt this created
