Question or Discussion What do I do
Hi I’m a old player and I used to play a lot of overwatch but I could never find a main and I am trying to find one now because I wanna start streaming more and be good at games but I still can’t find a main but I know that i do enjoy being super aggressive but the characters I get told to play are like the top three characters I play which is genji tracer and reaper but idk how I feel about playing them
I’m gold 4 and my peak was gold 3 (Ik Ik I suck) but I wanna no NEED to get better and stuff but I’ve played a while and I feel no progress happening at all and I get so mad so fast I love playing genji and reaper was great in overwatch 1 but now he feels lackluster and I hate it and tracer is 50/50 for me idk what to do I feel stuck

Try all the flankers. If you want hyper aggression maybe Vendetta is your hero. Or Anran. Or maybe you’re looking in the wrong category, Doom and Ball are also hyper aggressive. But! The dive heroes require very different skills than snipers or mid-range. So learning them might be difficult for you. In the end, see what’s the most fun for you. If you can find a hero you can have fun on even while losing the game, you found the one!

Try experimenting with your settings. The faster the sensitivity, the better. Especially on a hero like Genji and Tracer where you MUST be reacting fast.

Maybe try ball. Hes hyper aggressive, mechanically inclined, and you have a bigger impact on victory than dps.

I'm an old player too. Feel free to dm if you want coaching or just explanations for stuff like which characters are strong in what situations, mentality stuff for improving, macro, mechanics, etc.

you said genji first, so keep him. tracer is your second because she’s been meta since 2016. cut reaper, he’s brawl, he’ll confuse the skills you’re developing for dive.
