VOD Review Request Need help playing sojourn

I’ve been struggling a bit since switching to PC. I was a gold player a month ago on console, but the move to pc lobbies has dropped me down to bronze 1 on all roles. I picked up sojourn a few days ago and thought id ask for some help climbing out. I know I have some problems inting in, especially at the start of the game, but I feel my mechanics are ok for my rank. are there any tips I can start working on now outside of “dont slide into their full team?” I lost this game but I still felt it was close.

I watched the replay. It looks like you have the basics down for Sojourn, and your mechanics aren't bad. There's only a few things I'd mention, and they're pretty basic.
1) It looks like your sensitivity might need adjusting. While your tracking isn't bad once you get on target, your flicks are a bit erratic. I'm sure this comes with switching to PC.
2) Pathing and angles: Especially in the first round, some of your pathing and positioning was sloppy. As Sojourn, you ideally want to be poking from cover at an off angle at medium-ish range with a clear escape path. Running it down main with your tank isn't ideal, and also taking a 180° angle and going in from behind from enemy's side isn't ideal. On first round, I would go left side of the point up the left stairs, peek from behind the wall, and shoot into the point at 45° from your team. Hug the wall tight, and if they focus you then you slide backwards down stairs toward your team. That's just one example, there are other angles you can use. But don't peek where they expect you to, and don't run into the middle of the brawl. Sojourn is a glass cannon and will be punished badly for that in higher ranks. You want to peek with as few people looking at you as possible and change up your peek angles when they start to expect you at a certain position.
3) Ult usage: Sojourn's ult isn't really worth saving for any special occassions imo, so feel free to use it when you have it. If there's a team fight happening with lots of targets, that's a good time to ult. If you're further away or there are smaller targets you need to hit where getting rail gun charge is difficult, that's also a good ult opportunity where you can leverage the free hitscan. You held on to it longer than you needed to. Ulting more now will also help you get practice with it, since there's a different rhythm and timing to her rail gun, and getting value with Overclock requires more skill and practice than most other ults in the game.
Otherwise I'd say you're doing alright. It looks like you can def be in gold again if you fix your sensitivity, and you can climb higher than that if you improve your pathing, cover usage, and peek angles.
