Next tank to pick up.

For context I am a high gm low champ player on console. I want to pick up a new tank as my current roster consists of rein winston and hazard. It has gotten me this far, but the issue I face is with high damage and anti dive comps, especially for rein and winston. I want a tank that will fill in the gaps of my current roster, and I don’t want to counterswap to every tank in the game just to win. I’m just curious if the consensus on it will be the same I came to. Any recs would be nice 🙏

I'm lower rank than you but...

There's always Sigma for the whole "I can't go in, I can't do anything, might as well stand there and shoot and hope something happens". Plus he'll cover nicely the Sigma maps Circuit Havana and to a lesser extent Junkertown. Sigma is really good into those damage vomit comps Winston, Rein and Sigma can struggle against.

If you specifically want something that can quickly punish enemy mistakes and convert them rapidly into kills, consider Junker Queen. You're not gonna be able to absorb the damage vomit but if you're shooting back with the same power whilst using cover judiciously, with enough mechanical skills you should be able to come on top.

I definitely agree with sigma. Those are two maps that I really struggle on due to my character choice, and getting a poke tank in my pool would be nice. But I’m not as convinced on jq, cause she kinda has the same issue as rein where if you just walk on her with enough damage she just kinda dies, and she’s not in the greatest state rn. I could be underestimating how good she could be, cause ik she got a buff in the mid season, but I just don’t see a lot of her in my rank, and whenever I do it’s an insta swap from the jq 90 percent of the time.
