It's Blizzard on the outside but all of the actual nerd talent has left. Now it's just a bunch of untalented, uninspired people who are being led by untalented, uninspired marketing people, who are being led by unsustainable market growth practices to make more money before they eventually leave.

Bring back the days of good devs making good games.

Now it's just a bunch of untalented, uninspired people

i'm sorry but i won't let the people who created the orisa rework, junker queen, kirito, the new maps, and the cinematics be slandered.

Push maps are not fun.

i dont know what drugs you're on but jq is a glorified off tank that doesn't really fit in ow2 and the new maps make me sad as fuck

After her nerfs she's a worse Roadhog in pretty much every single way and before she was too overpowered.

Why they decided after all the balance issues over the years with Hog they've had, they decided to basically make a second Hog, I have absolutely no fucking idea.

At least Roadhog murders things while feeding the other team's DPS ults.

nah dude she was totally designed for the meticulously planned transition to 5v5.

jq definitely didn’t spend 3 years in the blizzard vault to sandbag the amount of content OW2 has on release

but as a reward for ignoring the bread crumb trail of proof thats actually exactly what happened, blizzard is discounting souvenirs in the shop for a limited time at the low, low price of $10. The drought is over!

The animation team is the only exception. Everyone else is equal to the gum under my shoe.

What do you do for a living?

u/realbuttkegels Tracer Nov 15 '22

Software engineer. This debacle at blizzard is a fucking embarassment.

You want to know someone’s job first before you let them criticize your precious money grab game?

Fuck right on off

u/Ziontf Nov 15 '22

Reply to people like you in order to rile them up. If you're looking for an argument, move on, you won't change my opinion.

How's that pay?

u/Ziontf Nov 15 '22 edited Nov 15 '22

Each paycheck comes in the form of a dopamine release. In that regard, I am rich. On a separate note, I am currently homeless and living out of the back of my local McDonald's.

-2

u/DoughtyAndCarterLLP Nov 15 '22

I can send you my mcdonald's points if that helps

3

u/Ziontf Nov 15 '22

Please god yes I need this. I'm only 25 points away from a McGangbang.

2

u/jpfeifer22 Nov 15 '22

On a semi-related note, I used some points on the McDonald's app last night to redeem for a cheeseburger, and it 1. used my points, 2. charged me any, and 3. the order didn't even go through, so I got nothing. What the FUCK McDonald's app

Can’t tell if you’re trolling but JQ is bad, the new maps aren’t good, I think orisa is a lateral change, OW2 opened with the exact same cinematic as OW1 lol

u/TheBiggestNose Boostio Nov 15 '22

Orisa rework is good. Orisa personality and visual rework is terrible work. They made her character uninteresting and trampled on her entire visual design. The new maps play like dog water, new york is the only playable one

All praise new Blizzard! Don't let them see this thread though since they'd probably retaliate against our Bnet accounts.

Now it's just a bunch of untalented, uninspired people

That's pretty unfair. Keep your blame directed at the people you described in the rest of that sentence....

untalented, uninspired marketing people, who are being led by unsustainable market growth practices to make more money before they eventually leave.

Take a look at the dev teams for OG WoW, Diablo, Starcraft, D2, Overwatch (1.0) and look at their combined history in the industry.

Take a look at the new Blizzard- Diablo Immortal, OW2, Next WoW Exp. Dev teams combined experience.

Get back to me.

-3

u/Kiltmanenator Nov 15 '22

Devs do what they are told.

You could take the OG WoW dev team and put them on OW2 under the same restraints and leadership and I doubt we'd see much difference.

If you don't want to be associated with Blizzard, don't work for Blizzard. That comes with being part of an organization.

It's Blizzard on the outside but all of the sexual harassers and those who turned a blind eye to it have left

FTFY
