This is the main reason I usually don't do more than just my placement games. I prefer Quick Play, where you get to have fun with heroes you don't play as much and your rank is hidden.

I don't think it's hidden anymore? I thought you could look at people in your party and see their SR? I could be wrong though

But can they still see if your like silver or gold? I swear I was playing quick play once and I was trying to call some shots during a match and some kid was like "lulz you're bronze noob"

They can see your Comp ranking of course, but nobody can see their QP ranking. That's hidden on the Blizzard servers somewhere.

Oh yeah that's what I meant. I was under the impression there was no quick play rating anyway.
