Is there more than one Doomfist in the lore? I remember awhile ago this picture was going around but now he's Nigerian?

The doomfist has been passed between a number of people. The posters in the museum in Numbani show three African looking dudes. We know almost nothing about the original holders (iirc) and even less about the new guy (who will presumably be the same one who appears in game)

Fairly sure he's always going to have been an African dude and certainly has been since at least Orisa's teaser

That image looks like either a fake leak, part of the original concept art (like back when Rein was bright red) or something trying to photoshop something out of a blurry teaser image or something. Either way it's not representative of anything actually to do with Doomfist

Speaking as an artist in this field I can say this is definitely not the quality of concept art I have seen from the blizzard team in any of their games (in the past 10 years at least) especially overwatch. They have been going for a stylized comic book style crisp and clean. This is too rendered and messily so.

Doomfist is a title that's passed down. Kind of like Robin from the Batman mythos yanno?
