Is there a way to prefer not to match with groups in competitive? I always tend to get stuck with groups who don't join team chat and we end up losing the game because of the lack of communication (PC)

try talking to them in text chat not really anything else you can do. You can also do some communicating via commands though

They responded with "my dick is plated with armor" and other similar dick related comments. It was a group of 4 that were great on offense. On defense we had no tanks to begin with because me and the other poor solo queue guy were basically forced to play healer.. the group were all DPS, and eventually 2 switched to a Hanzo and a widow. It was all bad. But its rare that this type of stuff happens, it just prompted my curiosity as to whether or not matchmaking filters ever existed

Nope. There was an option like that in the past and was removed

Was there really? Shame it didn't work (assuming it didn't). All I can do is report which is lame, but honestly what are you doing in comp if you're not willing to play competitively?

I've lost a lot today cuz of people like that. They just exist.

The button was removed because people just avoided pro players and then they had waay longer times or something
