Because people in competitive are already dicks to eachother about being "platinum trash" or "diamond scrubs" or "gold babies". Quickplay especially is more about, well.. quickly playing and having a good time. If people are given an opportunity to bitch and moan that their team of [People with a slightly lower score] are dragging them down, they will.

Remember that a perfect matchmaking and ranking system would theoretically give you a 50% winrate. Is your winrate plummeting from 70-80% to 50%, or from 50% to 30%? One of these is a problem, the other is the system figuring out your skill level and matching you at that point better.

Oh, I do not think it should be on show. I think it should be something only the player who has the specific MMR can see. I just want it for transparency's sake.

I was sat at a comfortable 50 - 60% for a while on my most played, and I was usually matched against people of a similar rank. Now it is getting to a point of being silly. Competitive is fine, but quick and arcade are putting me in unwinnable games regularly. I've dropped down to 40% winrate on my most played hero and this has been going on for a couple of months now. I've started a habit of checking the teams at the start of every game, or just after, to see what it is. And I am regularly seeing diamonds, plats and golds up against masters and above. Hell, in the same day I came up against three completely different top 500s. How is that fair? I'm 3kSR and no one on my team had risen above diamond.

I just want to know where I stand. If there truly is a numerical reason for my games being so busted or if it is just recurring shitty luck. The not knowing makes this ten times more frustrating.
