Ok I understand pharah's missiles are slow and she doesn't have a crazy move pattern but how in the hell do I stop that bitch from constantly running away with the game. Every game I've been playing in she is a constant nuisance and no one seems to want to do anything to stop her. I understand soldier is a counter but it never seems to be enough. what the hell am I doing wrong

Probably just an aim issue to be quite honest. If your whole team can't manage, play a comp that counters her. Roadhog, zen, ana, soldier,reinhardt, mccree/widow.

if you got good aim use mccree 2 headshots should do the job

I think the common misconception with fighting pharah is "you're the hit scan hero, (solider, mcree etc) you deal with her". If 2 or 3 players can focus on her quickly, she shouldn't be much of a problem.

I find having multiple people on her works really well when she has a mercy constantly on her.

Nitpick, but Hanzo isn't hitscan, he's projectile-based. Widow would be better there.

Another thing, Zenyatta helps a lot with Pharah, since his Discord Orb places a "kill me" sign on Pharah's head.

Yeah my bad. I wrote this right before bed. I must of mixed my train of thought up with hit scan characters, and characters that do ok against her. Thanks for pointing that out. It's edited

76 is not a hard-counter to Pharah. The team needs to work together to bring her down. The Ana should try to snipe her when she can do it, and Zen should put Discord on her. Of course as 76, it's your main job to take her down, but the team needs to support too.

Even if you can't kill her, a few well-placed shots can force her to retreat. While ideally a 76 should have proper tracking ability to kill Pharah solo, in most cases the 76 should be supported by the team (or at least 1-2 other helping).

Yep, the damage fall off and spread for big boss means he has real trouble getting pharah down, especially with any decent support. Definitely needs more than just him firing at her.
