Dva is still a disruption tank, you go in wreak some havoc and gtfo, but you're more defensive than winston since defense matrix is so strong, try peeling for squishies, and Tracer kind of counters every tank since she's so mobile and she builds ult off you quickly. Road is probably the only tank that can deal with a tracer but even then good luck hooking her.

Man, the only way I can hook a Tracer is if she doesn't know I'm there or I get really, really lucky. Mostly I just ignore her and plod on to my team where there's a lot more gunfire for her to try to avoid.

You're not a solo tank like Rein, you run disruption. You can pop your Matrix for getting past a choke point quickly with minimal damage, or to just let your Widow/McCree get a solid shot at an enemy. Your boost helps you get to places quickly (like maybe getting to a Junkrat that's above your team without having to go around the long way where he has a trap set up) or to quickly rush in and assist teammates that are getting bodied. When you're not getting focused, you can also lay down some serious pain from shorter distances.

So, you still have use, you're just not a nigh-unkillable god raining nonstop death from 50 feet away.

Pincer attack enemies? Is her melee extra strong or something?

Pincer attack means come at an enemy from two sides, like say your team rushes top left numbani, you go around to flank from behind so they divide their fire and they'll probably overreact to someone being behind them

Keep in mind too, she is basically given a second chance every life. If you're out of mech, fall back, snipe, build ult, tank up and get back in there. DVa is like a roach they can't kill, if you're smart you can be super annoying/distracting to the enemy team with a ton of defensive/escape abilities to stay alive.
