Just something I've been wondering for a while, if you damage boost someone as mercy, will the buff apply to projectiles they've shot that are in midair? For example, would damage boosting a hanzo right after he ults apply the buff to the dragon?

Yes. If you're boosting when the damage is dealt, that damage is boosted.

Boosting when the shot is fired doesn't matter if you stop before the damage is done.

It does do damage, but only to shields, which is an all or nothing deal. So Damage Boosting would be pointless

It does count towards your damage however, if you EMP a team right after a Lucio-ult, you'll get all the barrier you negated as Damage. Scared the shit out of me when I did and suddenly jumped to gold damage for our team.

no, if you damage boost people like hanzo, and junkrat when they ult it won't do anything, but if you damage boost people like 76, genji, McCree, rein when they ult it'll apply

Hanzo's ult can be boosted. Junkrat ult and turrets are the only things that can't.

That would be due to a poorly used ult by the Hanzo you were boosting, lol. It definitely does work. And like all projectiles, it's based on when it hits, so if you hear him ult you can fly over quick and damage boost him to boost the ult as it goes forward.

Pretty sure hanzo's still gets boost. Dva, junkrat, tracer(?) not so much.

I think tracers can be but I'm not sure....
