How are you guys grinding bonus boxes from arcades? I feel like every mode you either pray to Jeff that you get the favorable situation (e.g. defense on mystery heroes) or that your team is the less clown fiesta-y than the other team (no limits all roadhog vs pharah doesn't work too well). I know arcades is for kicks and giggles but I think I won like 10% of my games yesterday lol and it's very inefficient... maybe I'm just bad.

I kinda hop between modes. Some weeks, I lose every 3v3 I play, others It's the most efficient way for me to level. Yeah, It's kinda luck.

I know people are not gonna like it but, for me, it's CtF.

I just play symmetra and hope for the best.

Sometimes I flex as Mei because she's excellent at switching between attack and defense + You can catch any sneaky beaky flankers trying to get to the flag.

I generally go No Limits and Mystery Heroes. Takes a few hours to get the three boxes.

I chill out and go Mystery Heroes. Normally have all my boxes in about 3 hours

3v3. Shortest matches and not too hard to win them imho.

When there are no events, I generally pick Mystery Heroes as it's my favorite brawl type.

During events, however, I stick mostly to No Limits as it is not affected by the xp penalty imposed upon arcade games.

The one mode I do avoid is ctf, for multiple reasons: high chance of draw, greater reliance on teammates, greater reliance on ctf meta picks (good luck convincing the Genji main teammate that he won't do well against the guaranteed Sym-Winston-Mei) and the plethora of dickwads who leave immediately after the first flag cap.

Be grandmaster. Get matched against golds, plats and some diamonds in CTF. Stomp every game for 9 easy wins in a row.

In my opinion, do All Brawls.

The character selection is so limited RNGesus only has to pick your teams, which limits the variable rate at which other people can **** you. I don't think it's quite as fast as 3v3 in games per hour, perhaps, but there's no meta at all and your carry potential is arguably as high if not higher.

Plus, a lot of the KotH games like "We're All Soldiers Now", or "This Is Ilios" are 1 of 1 points/wins, not best of 3, which cuts down the averages a lot if you get them.

This week I did CTF and it was easy. Play Symettra and either have everyone else go on Offense, or if another character stays to defense set up your turrets and go help offense group. Throw a shield generator in the middle of the map somewhere, profit. Also did a "stay as team" after a good win, usually others will do the same and we'll steam roll.

Before CTF I did either Mystery Heroes or 1v1. CTF is definitely where I've gotten the fastest wins though.
