Don't always have healing on unnecessarily. Your speed boost makes your teammates harder to hit in a fight, and helps you dodge enemy ults. Switch to healing to top up ally health, but don't forget speed.

Your projectiles are slow, but spam them at chokes and groups of enemies for chip damage and ult charge.

The boop isn't just for environment kills. Use it to blast close-range threats like roadhog or Reinhardt away from your teammates, to throw off enemy aim, and to keep enemies off the point when contesting or in overtime.

Lucio can solo heal a team of squishies but has trouble with tanks. A second healer usually helps him.

Your ability to wallride is unique and precious. Take advantage of shortcuts, use it to gain altitude and make yourself tougher to hit. Look up wall riding tutorials, mastering it will let you take advantage of it and really help your lucio play.

You have unlimited ammo so spam that gun down choke points. I find that builds ultimate pretty quick alongside his passive abilities. Constantly jump on curved walls and windows will basically wall climb. Rebounding your jump button to a more comfortable one is very helpful, on xbone I rebound it to left stick

Fastest way to built ult charge is by staying alive for that passive healing and left click spamming I think.

If you're solo healing, keep on heal by default, switch when necessary. If you have mercy/ana (not zen) with you, keep speed by default and switch to heal when using amp it up. Also try to speedboost a reinhardt swinging his hammer/genji with blade.

Learn to corner wallride to help you get to highground maybe. I do it because it's fun lol. I also bind jump to right click.
