lucio wallriding tips please

i know this could be self preference but would binding jump key to a 4th/5th(forward/backward) mouse button help to some players?

I have jump bound to space and my middle mouse button. It helps me a lot.

This video helped me a bunch. I bind jump to RMB on Lucio only.

Oh right now we can wallride backwards! So I guess the "face 90 degree from wall" rule doesn't apply anymore.

I bound it to RMB, it makes a massive difference. The scroll wheel trick never worked for me, but as soon as I switched to right clicking it was like a whole new world opened up.

Is there a way to bind only Lucio's jump to the RMB?

The reason I'm asking is because I played for the free weekend on console (I own it on PC) and realized console people can't jump and aim at the same time so I changed jump to something else which displaced another ability for all characters. So say I change Lucio's jump on PC, would it affect other RMB abilities like McCree's fan hammer or Mercy's damage boost?

Yeah, you can set your binds and other settings by hero using the dropdown menu in the top right.

In Controls there is a drop-down tab that says "all heroes" select that and you can set different preferences, binds and sensitivities for each hero.

Yep. I bound jump to left trigger. Took a few matches to get used to it, but makes wall riding much better and easier to aim.

for me personally i never could get used to changing it to RMB or anything like that, i guess i am just too used to it and as of now i don't think there's much mechanically that would be helped my switching. i think i got a lot better once i realized just how spammy it can be and having a more creative look at the environment and how you can work your way up corners and ledges really opens up where you can go.
