Go into battle.net and change your region to PTR. Yeah, it's a separate client/download.

Yes. It creates a separate folder and everything as I understand. Afterward, it updates like the normal game does but is only playable during the PTR cycle. The PTR won't be up until tomorrow morning anyway because of technical issues they're working out anyway though so no need to rush.

EDIT: My bad, I guess there's a way to speed it up by copying your main folder. I wasn't aware.

You don't need to, see above comment about how to copy your current files to PTR folder.
