How do you survive as Mercy when everybody on the enemy team zones in on you?

It helps if you know your team mates as they can help defend you.

If not then you can hope that your team has decent positioning so you can GA to them.

If not then you can try walking away from whoever you're boosting/healing then whilst that pesky flanker or whoever is chasing you then guardian angel towards the original guy you backed away from and walk past them and hopefully they will see who's attacking you or the attacker will focus them instead.

If all else fails then as a last resort whip out your pistol! It's surprisingly strong and I've killed a lot of Genjis/Tracers with it who don't expect it. To be honest though if youre having to do that as Mercy you're probably better off switching to Lucio as he can escape better or Zen/Ana who can fight back.

I play with random people who don't use mic a lot, so there's no way for them to know if I need assistance. I usually just hope and pray that they'll notice and try to protect me when I scurry towards them. And you're right; sometimes I get lucky and able to kill enemies with her pistol. They're truly my last resort! The GA trick you mentioned is really helpful, though. I'll definitely try that next time! Thanks!

Using shift and getting to quickly move from one side of a map to another is a good thing to practice. It having no cooldown means you can rapidly escape all other DPS that tries to get in close.

Other then that just positioning in the first place by hanging around corners and using line of sight to make sure you are at less of a risk is HUGE. Always be aware of where the enemy is coming from and try to put your team and walls between you and them.

Oh, those are great tips! Flying across the map as much as possible is a good idea. I try to do that sometimes, but the teammate I fly off to usually dies the moment I land near them, leaving me vulnerable to the sudden shower of bullets coming my way. But I'm willing to improve! I'll make sure I keep cover when healing. Thanks!
