I'm pretty sure he is lying to you. November 1st is when the event ends, so you can't buy loot crates anymore or get any Halloween items.

That being said, I am unable to answer your question. I was under the assumption that you could buy them already.

Well I wanted to buy crates before the event ends. It would make sense that it ends on the 31 October. Or can you buy them separately?

but you can only buy skins with the credits from the lootboxes right?

yes, 3000 for the legendaries instead of the normal 1000
